Found this news at prisonplanet among other places. People have heard booms from Europe to Canada. Not very probable to be just co-incidences.

Here's some opinions by different people:

The Earth's magnetosphere has been weakening. With every subsequent massive earthquake, the axial tilt of the planet moves. (ex. north and south poles re-adjusting their positions.) When that happens, the jet stream which carries weather all over the planet begins to fluctuate. Our recent streak of summer-like temps might be happening because the planet's axis has moved us closer to the sun, no longer obeying the natural order of the seasons. The booming that we are hearing might be associated with the building of massive cities underground, but it also may be the sounds of friction from the crust breaking deep within the ground thanks to the core slowing down it's initial rotation. (That's what causes the magnetosphere to be weakened in the first place.) Bottom line, we're in for some crazy $hit if the poles decide to flip. It has occurred before in the past. If you do your research, you will find all this credible information to be true.

Oil companies fracking trying to connect wells together, well they better not mess around too much, cause one connection to the Yellowstone underground link and its game over....Oil companies use HAARP as well to bring gas and oil closer to the surface.

I'm siding with the first opinion above.

Conspiracy or not, it is interesting, very uncommon and worth a discussion. What do you think?
 


It's most likely the first one.

In fact that's what 2012 is supposed to be all about. Galatic Alignment. It doesn't happen very often as you can imagine. So the forces of having all planets aligned or nearing one another is unknown, but could easily affect such things as the magentic polarity, etc. Also something about planet Nibiru have all kinds of people talking.

Obviously having the poles switch will cause problems and have consequences.
 
there might be something in 2012 then! 3 months in and 2011 seemed worse though
 
Pole shifting won't be a physical change when it happens, but rather a magnetic pole shift. This has happened many times throughout the evolution of life on our planet and no extinction level events happen from it. Interestingly enough though, some evolutionists think that the shifting of the magnetic poles plays some part in evolution. Maybe we will all become telepathic when it happens (all your campaigns are belong to us).

Also, the planetary alignment theories are not based on sound science. Other than the constellations being in certain parts of the sky, and some planets 'lining up' there are no planetary alignments out of the ordinary that would cause shit to go down.

It could be a weather anomaly, or underground blasting. I have a feeling that with the changing climate we are seeing something akin to thunder, caused when hot air meets cold air, resulting in a boom.

The Nibiru thing was originally predicted for 2003. Now it's rescheduled for 2012 (I may not have the facts right on that)? Why can we assume they were just a little off with that catastrophe, but not the end of the world?

Plus, I'm sure you guys have all heard the leap year explanation? I mean that right there pretty much debunks anything having to do with Mayan predictions right?

There's no planetary alignment either. Earth, sun, and black hole at the center of the universe line up, but that happens every year.

Maybe I'm too skeptical. But no.
 
Oh fuck, and here we go... the next internet craze... well, for 24 - 48 hours.

It was probably just low flying military jets breaking the sound barrier, or something.
 
Wish I had my own HAARP project... I'd bank it out like a bandit. The ROI would be RIDICULOUS!

I was looking at this story a few days ago. Pretty interesting I like geological anomalies - if that's what it is.

I rem a few yrs ago there was a town in the Upper peninsula of Michigan where a huge crevice just formed out of nowhere after a huge boom. I think geologists attributed it to the land still rebounding from the last ice age or something - because the glaciers have melted away and their weight is gone.

And for anyone who doesn't think crazy geological shit can happen check out the New Madrid earthquake of 1811-1812.

LOL thank you Mayan calendar for making 2012 so awesome. People are freaking out, it is so awesome to watch.
 
Whatever it is.. it's pretty obvious that religious people need to ban together and commit mass suicide. I mean what else could we do when something odd happens? Mass suicide is the only way to go.
