So forcing people at gunpoint to pay for things is cool?

Why The Future Is Better Than You Think - YouTube

Yes, being forced at gunpoint to pay for shit is retarded, and governments should be completely eliminated. But since, we're currently stuck with governments no matter where we live (as the majority of any population want a government), I'd much rather see my taxes going towards shit like this than endless wars and countless deaths. I'm from Canada anyway, so I guess I didn't pay for this.

But I don't see why politics has to be brought into every conversation.

I can't wait for the HD photos to come through. I believe it's going to take a day, just and FYI to anyone unaware.

Yeah, they only had a chance for a couple right now. I think I heard him say the first ones will be 256x256. The images are first sent to the Odyssey satellite that orbits Mars, and it is close to being out of communication range with Earth for a few hours.

Welcome to the world we live in. Got a better idea? Go talk with the president. I didn't make the rules.

why would I talk to the president? like he's there to actually benefit the citizenry and not his masters.

Id rather see my tax dollars going towards space exploration than buying bullets to kill towel heads in Iraq.

Awesome, so do I. But I'm not enough of a prick to tell others what to do with their money. I think them landing yet another rover successfully is cool n' all, but getting mad about me pointing out that fact is like getting mad if a victim complains about his rapist gently massaging his butthole rather than it being pummeled by a big cock like usual. I use that analogy since we're all gay here.

Then you should probably get out of affiliate marketing, because you do it everyday.

"tell others" should have been "force others" my bad.

Fine, I'll stop being mr buzz killington here.

GOOD JOB NASA I FUCKING LOVE YOU MAN!

I've missed it. Here is the youtube video:

NASA - NASA Television in High Definition on UStream

I know none of you useless fucks realize it or not, but one day we'll have to find another habitable planet to live on after the sun has run its course. Enjoy.

I dont look forward to that. The Earth experiment failed hard. I hope I'll never see the day when the vermine of the Earth set off to leech space....

Imagine when we start feuding up there.....east space vs. west space...:arcadefreak:

Fuck yeah, go NASA!

And for the people bitching about investing in space, wtf??? This entire mission was like $2.7B or something. Big deal. How much do the wars cost? How about the bank bailouts?

If we can get to, and cruise around Mars for a good while off $2.7B, just imagine what would have happened if the $1TB+ that was dropped into bombing brown people was put towards space exploration. We'd probably be cruising around, and checking out other galaxies by now. Ok, maybe not, but still...

Here's a cool video about the plans for the first manned mission to Mars, and how it can lead to colonization:
