NBA Finals thread - get in here!

All I want is for OKC to lose because I'm a Sonics fan. I thought Miami had the best chance at beating them but it's not looking good after last night's game. I'm hoping for Miami in 7 games.

Your ability to sense sarcasm is strong. Let me spell it out for you LEBRON IS A LOSER.

He never let his team down? Are you forgetting he was swept by the Spurs, he put up 8 whole points against the Mavericks in game 4 last year, and he'll definitely wilt this year against the Thunders tenacious D.

LOL, my bad.

By not letting his team down, I'm referring to this year's playoff run.

This is just game one. So chillax bro.

This play alone sums up how bad he wants it....

Edit: sorry I didn't read the replies...They OKC don't need to stop lebron. Let him score 30. Teams win tittles not individuals. Jordan never won until he had pippen, kerr, hodges, cartwright, etc...

OKC is the BETTER team. OKC in 5. Maybe 6.

lol.

How? Wade + Bosh weren't a factor last night.

Please explain.

Not saying the Heat will win, but you wanted an explanation. Proof is better:

Game 2 - LeBron scores 32 points. Results? Heat win.
Game 3 - LeBron scores 29 points. Results? Heat win.

Shit is rigged to go to game 7, dat dere advertising revenue

OKC in 7 mothafuckas!

I don't watch a ton of basketball but that was my exact reaction when Derek Fisher fouled a heat player behind the 3 point line, when they did the same thing the previous point with a 3 point foul. WTF? Wouldn't the previous penalty make you back the fuck off? In the replay, Fisher looked 100% intent on hitting his arm.

Whatever, again; I don't watch much basketball, primarily because the number of fouls called would make you think the ref's are trying to protect a bunch of frail grandma's, shit is ridiculous.

fuckin refs. Also OKC needs to keep the ball out of sefoloshas hand. That mother fucker sucks and is only good on defense.

Re-read my post and look at what I quoted you for.

Reason why he didn't have to score 40 or so points in those games is because wade is stepping up and bosh is playing like the way he should. Also frigging battier is shooting lights out.... Finally!

I picked the heat in 7 but it might end in SB in 5. Battier is knocking down some major 3's.

Regardless of what happens I'm proud of OKC. We (I grew up there) wanted a professional sports team for years and were told there wasn't a market for it. Look at it now. Even if the Thunder don't win the series we still won.

lmao fucking salty ass people in this thread blaming the referees for the reason the heat won. Maybe if OKC can knock down more foul shots when they got fouled it would be different but fouls were on both side. the only difference was miami made there foul shots and okc didn't.

Lebron has averaged 43 minutes a game this postseason; a banged-up Wade has averaged 40. If this series goes back to OKC - regardless of who is up - the younger Thunder will outlast the Heat. BOOK IT

Look, the league doesn't care who wins. The refs are not sided for OKC or Heat. But they are working to send this to game 7. Doesn't matter who wins, more views, more money.

Think to yourself why they didn't call foul on Lebron on game 2 when Durant was making his last shot. It was a clear foul, and Durant missed because Lebron was exerting illegal pressure on him. Sending it to OKC 2-0 would have made it harder to take it to 7 games, making it 1-1 was right within reach, just by not blowing that whistle.

I hate lebron james... that is all

If you're right (and I'm not saying you're not), OKC should get a ton of douchey calls tonight to ensure the series goes back there for game 6 and possibly 7. In NBA finals history, a team up 3-1 has a 30-0 record in stacking titles.
