Funny thing is that you think that 320 GB is a lot of space. The minimum HDD space I've seen on new PCs these days is 500GB. I think the standard is 1TB. 320GB is honestly pretty weaksauce now.
You'll need to input your CC# and upgrade to a gold account for that.
OSX vs Windows aside, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Want a system with more space? Get a bigger hard drive.

1TB is all anyone needs, if you are filling it up, then you need to realize that you can watch porn whenever you want on the internet and delete your 900GB "New Folder".
My main work computer hasn't been formatted for about a year now and i'm only using 200GB out of 1TB, I'm going to reformat soon because I want a faster PCI-E SSD.

You might need to use the disk cleanup utility.
