Here's the thing: you're getting flamed because you asked "how can I make money." There are so many options...you need to be more specific. Ask "how can I make money with..." and you'll get a more positive response.

If you're brushing up that close with missing rent, I'd suggest you do the following as quickly as possible:

1. Get a temporary job (or start writing your ass off, as discussed above). This isn't a long term plan, it's just to cover your ass. Believe me, I hate the 9-5 grind, but if for whatever reason all my income stopped coming and my savings disappeared, it's exactly what I'd do. Once you get back on your feet online you can quit.

2. Research the shit out of all tactics/ideas/strategies you think will earn you money short term. Make a list of ideas and questions. Do NOT pay for ebooks or anything else.

3. Ask questions about the ideas. You're likely to get more help this way.

4. Implement your ideas. With dedication and a bit of luck, you'll start making some dough.

5. Start planning long term online. Build it up.

6. Quit your day job and focus online.

7. My final suggestion is to have a minimum of 6 months of living expenses tucked away somewhere. Forget that it exists. I've done this and believe me, I can actually sleep at night now.

Also, I offer uber phone consultation packages in exchange for phone sex / dirty pictures.

Thanks, that's great, solid advice. I don't know what the hell has happened to me. I used to be so...level headed. Seems the get rich quick schemes have gone to my head, or else I have just gotten lazy. :eek:

Great post.

My advice: possibly take out a loan, get a "normal" job, don't buy ebooks, don't believe in get rich quick schemes.
 
All great feedback here. There is no substitute for hard work. Meaning, every opportunity you get to make money is a learning experience. If you need to make money, start writing. If you want to try something else, read. Read, read, read...you're not sure what to read, then ask. There are so many areas you can make money online with just a little work ethic, persistence and research.

Things to try:
1) Ghost Writing
2) Start a blog and slap adsense on it
3) Learn how to code (html, php) and do LP's
4) Make some Indian friends and sell their services to ur local businesses

get a craigslist bot, then pretend to be a chick in the f4m section, and get dudes to sign up to <insert dating site here>

setup an autoresponder on your email's and sit back and laugh.
 
AM is the wrong business to get into if you're inexperienced and need to make money fast. It might work for somebody who knows a lot about SEO and PPC, but risky for a newbie who would just throw money away on campaigns. I think it's best to start AM when you're still employed, living at home with parents and/or have a lot of cash in the bank as a cushion.

I think your expectation of "money coming in regularly from my entreprenuiral efforts" is unrealistic in the short-term for a n00b. Rent out a room in your house, get a job, sell your stuff, but don't expect AM to pay your bills this month.

  • Try the technical aspect you don't understand on Google Search-there is probably a Youtube video that will explain it
  • Maybe if you had spent time READING AT WICKEDFIRE the replies you received would have been expected and you'd have made money by now
  • WF is highly recommended by people who DO. If with all your reading you can't figure out the technical aspects then it might be time to accept this isn't the field for you
