This is a shameless plug for a new Costa Rican online poker room that my buddy is managing. I know some of you might be interested, but if not, just ignore my blatant spam.

They're called Full Flush Poker (yes, I know it's a crap name that's painfully close to Full Tilt, and WTF is a full flush anyway?). They will be going live on the 8th of November with their real money play. They've been having Sunday freerolls for about a month with the one coming up this week worth $4,000 and the one the following week worth $5,000, and $100 weekday freerolls.

US players are welcome.

I was under the impression that the US based poker sites that aren't regulated on the state level (such as the ones that are live in Nevada) are still in violation of the UIEGA and having to deal in backroom payouts (Like ACR and Bodog where getting checks cashed, wires accepted, etc is a pain because it's technically illegal for US banks to process them), which, in my opinion, coupled with small player pools, just isn't worth the hassle. Has this changed, or is your friend just doing what ACR and Bodog are doing and just giving the middle finger to the US gubmint?

I just want to point out that the UIGEA only makes accepting deposits illegal if the gambling itself is illegal by local, state or federal laws. There is no federal law making online gambling illegal, and a lot of states do not have laws making online gambling illegal.

Holla atcha boy.

Yeah, thanks for clarifying that. The act of playing online poker isn't illegal most places and the onus is on the banks.

Gonna give it a shot. Doesn't look like your aff link is working.

Yeah, I dunno what is up with that. Seems if there's a trailing slash it doesn't like it. Try this one instead for me Welcome to Full Flush Poker | Full Flush Poker Cheers.
