I've had nearly 100 ads disapproved this week. Probably a minuscule amount compared to a lot of others though. Trying a few tricks like cloaking, redirecting, and such, but no luck. Just gotta keep at it I suppose.
If you're bidding right the clicks should start very quickly, like 5-10 minutes.. one of the redeeming qualities of Facebook. Dating ads are very competitive, I've had to bid up to $1.50 to get the clicks starting to roll in.They have an auto-disapproval script if you don't meet certain requirements on specific niche ads (eg. Must select one sex for Dating ads), so if you get disapproved quickly, then that is what happened.
I have never used facebook, and was testing the waters with an ad. The suggested bid was $.6 - $.8, but I put $.5. I'm not getting any imp/clicks, but it has only been up for five hours. Does this mean I need to increase the bid or wait longer? I saw others saying $.5 for dating is too high, so it makes me really confused.
How big a budget can you get on facebook? I'm struggling to get past 1,000$
If you ask they will bump you up to 3k. After that if you want to go higher you have to fill out their little form and attach your DL to it. After that they will raise your budget pretty damn high.
Even if you don't spend 1k in a day you don't want a 1k budget, FB tries to make sure it's divided through out the day so with a 1k budget it will play your ads so you don't spend more than 500 by noon 750 by 6pm ect which is pretty damn annoying.

Any FB coupons laying around out there for new accounts?
how thorough is the manual review for the 3k spend limit raise. and who do you ask, a rep?
can you request for about 3k even if im not close to 3k? so i can get a bigger chunk of the impressions?
If you need a budget increase of up to $5k/daily send an email to Jeff Iden at jiden@facebook.com -- Tell him Jon from WickedFire sent ya and he'll boost ya with no problems.
awesome use of the FB ad platform. He would have been better off using those ads for slanging rebills and dating, but i guess a job at MS is ok.
