NEW Facebook Ads

They reply 1 time in 3 days. You really need to follow them up always with their e-mail, otherwise you would always speak wtih them 1 time in 3 days.

Ideas ? nope...

"Thank you for your question. We have reviewed your account and it appears that your landing page is not accurate in accordance to your landing page. This will give you a bad user feedback which will decrease your ad performance.
While you're not guaranteed any number of clicks or impressions, we'd certainly be happy to try to help you increase your conversions and improve your return on investment. Here are some simple techniques that may optimize your ad and increase your ROI:
Bid Competitively
-For any given ad unit, we select the best ad to run based on the cost per click or cost per thousand impressions and ad performance. Therefore, if you are not receiving as many clicks or impressions as you would like, we suggest increasing your maximum cost per click or maximum CPM.
Be Relevant
-One way to do this is by targeting users who have Likes and Interests listed in their profile that are related to your business. Make sure you are targeting relevant interests, but also think outside the box. Find similar or related interests of users who may not explicitly mention your product but are interested in similar products/services, or the lifestyle or activities you are marketing.
Encourage Action
-Make sure that your ad text includes a strong call to action such as "Click Here!" or "Order online today!". By doing so, you are giving the user an idea of what to expect if they click on your ad.
Get Visual
-Use relevant and compelling images that directly relate to the product/service you are promoting. Make sure these images are eye catching and speak directly to your audience.
Think Simple
-Make sure that the landing site you are advertising is easy to navigate and that the landing page presents information related to the ad prominently and clearly.
Rinse, Wash, Repeat
-Find what works and what doesn't work. Then, continue to iterate on your campaigns. Constantly refresh your creative after a couple of days to ensure that your ads do not become stale. This could be as simple as using a different image or ad title.
I hope you find these tips helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions."

So Rinse, Wash, Repeat:)

its just facebook i think,

I made 4 ads today, only picture variations; 2 get approved 2 don't (all pics were legit)

Only 1 of the approved gets traffic, i almost break even with a crappy CTR (0,06) but now I cant split test for a better CTR :/

First Facebook campaign in months... 350k demo.

Right with CPM from start ? Very good, what else to say. It's a bit of knowledge when you know for sure that people will click a lot to your CPM ads;) But maybe as well it's also 12 good ads left after 120 at first:)

How the hell do you get such a good ctr with such a large demo???? You must be killing it big time....kurching!!

Is there a thread in which I can ask of everyone how it is that my ads are being unapproved so incredibly

Make sure to be careful when targeting large demos. If you have your budget set high when you start the ad they will blast your ad out to the entire demo and you will receive 10k+ hits in the first 2 minutes. Especially if you have streaming flash video or run Tomcat, this will chew through 2GB of memory and start crashing httpd in no time. I ended up creating a static lander that closely mimics my real site and moving the resource intensive components onto AWS. Obviously if you are using a PPV-style thin lander this is less of an issue.

As for FB itself, the ads burn out extremely quick, and we've all dealt with the approval process. For longevity and your own mental health it is best to use FB for testing, and then move the successful ads over to a display network so you don't need to babysit them. Either that or hire an army of Filipinos to generate creatives and submit ads all day.

Otherwise I feel FB is still the best platform for people just starting out.

Thank god you watermarked that screencap, I definitely couldn't Photoshop that out in under thirty seconds.

My fb ads just pretty much stopped showing impressions this morning b/t 9-10am and has not started again. I'm way below my daily limit and I've been getting lots of clicks in previous days with these ads through this morning when it just stopped. I am getting like one or two clicks an hour now so it is not completely stopped (ie; disabled) but I'm not getting much.

Any ideas what the hell is happening???

So today everything is running fine today. What the F happened yesterday??? I lost a whole day of sales.... It all started when they increased my daily limit from $2k to $3k around 9am -- then all ads basically stopped running for the rest of the day. It's like the system thought I was out of budget but I had only spent $100 and had $2900 left... Then when the new day started today everything is running like normal again.

So fb support still didn't respond after 24 hours - so frustrating... Can you get to a level that you have a person or # to call when problems strike??? It sux just hanging out there knowing there is a problem but you can't contact anyone to discuss/fix it..... I guess it's another reminder not to be so dependant on one source for traffic...... :D

with such low ctr, how is anyone making money on FB? with very strict ad policies not sure what people are promoting to make anything at all.

Lots of people are making $$$ like myself.

With such negative belief and attitude I can see why you will never make money on FB.

Bro, I was making a 100% ROI on some dating offer directlinking, with a shitty .06% CTR near the end with a 1M demo.

But fuck, banner blindness set in after a day. .11 CTR to like .08 in 24 hours. Bros, gotta switch up creatives I guess.
