I fail to see how a ghillie suit and such is going to help you against an army of sorts.

But congrats on wasting money.

if you want to survive post-apocalypse, work on information (download wikipedia ect), energy (know how to make windmills / solar / hydro), and canned foods.

I already got generation 3 night vision, iv plates, mre, nuclear/fall out preparation. Potassium iodide when that japan crap popped off (since im on the coast); mre, etc. But yeah, just thought I'd post the pix

That is a really cool thing to have. Not just to defend your property but also to invade others. I would seriously take something like that out twice a month at least and just train with it.

People with that kind of equipment will survive martial law, there's no way grunts are going to have thermal.

You could travel unseen for months while anyone else uncamouflaged would be picked off by other militias.

If you really want to be unstoppable I would spend very little time practicing shooting because that's your strongest skill at that point. And focus on trap setting, plant edibles, fire building, etc., etc. Basic survival skills that you will need on your travels.

And making and building bows and arrows - because it's not like you have a forge on hand ready to make ammunition for your guns. What happens when you're cut off from your ammunition supply? BRAIIINNNSSSSS.

I agree. The only reason I'd be assed out is if they had thermal, which I doubt would be the case. I spent 2 grand and got me a III Generation night vision scope which is pretty cool too (used: ebay). I can easily see a few hundred yards out with it, no problem (and its night/day difference with the $200 generation 1 scopes). I've spent alot of time on snares, deadfalls, fire, water etc so I'm pretty sure I got that covered. I haven't spent any time however on plant edibles which I should consider. That would probably be a good thing to look into.

Anyone with proper intelligence will diversify in both business and life. When I go on patrols in Southern Arizona for illegal's with a few friends; we usually carry a primary rifle (me: AR-15); a thigh holster (XD 40 cal subcompact) and a ankle wrap (XD 9mm subcompact). My vest usually has over 100 rounds with the mags I have clipped on. People who run out of ammo, deserve to be shot. But that's not my case. IMO bow's are good for strategic kills if your wanting to further your skill. But this argument is like insisting on using a chariot to go to the store when you know dam well theres a car in your driveway :-)

go over to wall street and start making targets to take out.

then head to DC and make a list of all the halliburton CEOs and lobbyists on wall streets payroll and start your target practice bro

In Russia we have these not very legal man hunting resorts. Well, resorts is kind of a one-sided point of view, not very resort-y for the other side.

But at least they get paid well if they survive. Texmex just gets a shitty job for $4-6 bucks an hour, some American dream.

Yeah, hit me up on facebook and you'll see pix of people we detained. Even walked up on a dead body a few times and took pix (looks like it was rotting out in the desert for god knows how long with the skull hangin out and all that). Pretty narly stuff. "Not very legal man hunting resorts", lol... Never heard of that, but saw a movie on it once.
