Hi,

I am planning to develop a website. Does anyone know any articles or sites that provide good instructions on website planning (i.e. storyboard, flow chart, etc)?

yeah - I always start low tech first, with a pencil and paper. Loads of blocks and arrows with my chicken scratching handwriting in between. It makes life much easier when you sit down to code with a clearly defined roadmap in front of you.

I just start coding. Fuck sitting around grinding away at an idea. Once you've built a few real functional sites it all boils down to the same concepts over and over.

Typically start with some database work, followed by fleshing out the design, and then from there I just break loose. I feel like if I sit around thinking about it for too long it's only going to stop me from doing it. You can always go back and change something.
