New Years Resolution - Disregard Hustling ... Build Assets

This kind of thought is called complacency. Hustling and consistent action is the only thing that matters. You are going to die. There is no such thing as long term. Make as much money as you can nao.

When I say hustling I simply mean working like crazy on short-term money makers, and having to do it over and over just to keep up as these types of projects generally don't have a long shelf life, as opposed to building true long-term assets.

You are going to die. There is no such thing as long term. Make as much money as you can nao.
There is some literal truth to this - the die part - but I disagree 200% with your sentiment.

I'm guessing you're pretty young ... you sound like where I was about 6 years ago.

I'm 20 but been through the gutter-top-gutter-working-back-to-top cycle so I'm not talking out of my ass. Do whatever you want to though, it's the money that counts. Just remember that money gets spent like crazy especially when you're not focused on hustling. Delusions of grandeur only get worse when playing things long term. Do you have enough money stashed to last you for the rest of your life? How about the next 10 years? (We're talking long term aren't we) If not, you may regret throwing away an ongoing gravy train. Automate, delegate, outsource, don't throw it away...

Also I don't know the specifics of your operation but if you're outside the system (and wish to stay out) like the typical entrepreneur or affiliate marketer, you better be very rich already.

Yeah man I have enough saved up to never work another day in my life, but I enjoy the mental stimulation and the "game" of making money so I will continue doing so - just in a different way. As far as being "outside the system" I'm not even sure what you're referring to. If you're talking about not paying taxes, etc. everything I do is legit and I sleep well at night.

You know I have been thinking exactly the same thing recently. Bouncing around from campaign to campaign is just not something for the long-term and building assets is not just a smarter way of doing things it will be more profitable in the mid-long term anyway. I am with you man, good luck and see you on the other side :)
