carl, pm smaxxor and he'll get his am to you.
Hi all:
The post above talking about budget and burning $100-$500 in a few hours 'testing' keywords, is a scary scenario.
Correct me if I am wrong, but in order to run a campaign, in particular, the first campaign, we need a budget to sustain a min of 45 days. This calc is based on a network's net 15 payment terms. After the first cycle, we can expect to get paid each 30 cycle.
Another factor to consider is the 'fail' factor. Not all campaigns will produce a profit. So, do we need to budget for one or several failed campaigns before we find our rhythm?
So, for us noobs, what kind of budget might we need to run our first campaign?
Leaving my education currently at $900, and I still can't spot a great deal![]()
Maybe this should be a different thread...But in my own No Excuses efforts, I've got a test campaign set up and tracking in 202. I'm seeing a bunch of hits under Spy view from the same IP addresses (marked red, as in "warning!" or something). Should I go ahead and block these IPs via an htaccess file?

quick q about lp's
in one of the videos you looked at a bunch of weight loss blogs, and were like ah sweet this time it's 'donna' from (xyz)...
If I wanted to create a LP like that, how would I get pictures? Currently the only way I can think of is just rip em off of someone else. I don't necessarily feel that's the right or wrong thing to do.. but I'm not that horrible a coder, if it takes only slightly more time to put up my own page (modeled after theirs) I might as well do that. And graphics are one thing - harder, but i have a friend who owes me a favor - but where the f does one get before->after photos and not get into deep shit if the person finds out?
