Seems fishy to me. They are using Google Analytics, which seems unlikely, and the very first nav link, top left, is a Forum? (broken link).

Also, they accept paypal? (Democratic People's Republic of Korea_Leader Biography)

They north korean government are absolutely desperate for foreign currency.

My cave bit is the "business" page, if you read the guardian article or eithe of the two books you would see how ridiculous that seems.

Also the vice guide isn't that great, only shows you the weirdness of the fake parts of n Korea put on for their benefit.

I'm no fan of the amount of people the US locks up, or the profit incentive in some states with privatised jail systems that fuel it. But comparing prisoners in america to imprisonment in n Korea is not comparing like for like.

Also those figures can't be accurate as no one, not even the south korean secret service, knows he true figure of how many people are imprisoned in n Korea.
