Norwegian Prison

Don't forget the other reason politicians have no desire to reform our prison system - if you let the hundreds of thousands of prisoners out that are incarcerated for bullshit petty crimes, you will dramatically increase unemployment. Not only will a lot of corrections workers lose their jobs, but you're releasing a shit load of new people out into the job market as well. Inmates are not counted against your unemployment figures. They've taken the necessary evil of a corrections system and turned it into an entire industry and that's why we have the exploding prison populations.

Are you kidding me buddy? I wish. Most swedes are retarded leftists. The media is indirectly owned by the socialist party on one end and a "multicultural" jew family on the other (bonnier family) who both promote immigration and lie about the negative effects of it. The past 20 years or so hundreds of thousands of arabs/africans have invaded Sweden and Norway (and other Europan countries as well) with high crime rate as a result. Especially rape and robbery that pretty much didn't exist 25 years ago. In Norway 100% of all outdoor rapes the past 3 years were committed by non-europeans (read: blacks, arabs, persians, kurds and pakis). It's pretty much the same in most European countries.

The anti-immigrant party you're talking about only got about 6%. It will probably get more next election, but until then tens of thousands more illiterate and uneducated savages will be let in... ruining the country further.

But hey, maybe you were talking about Japan?

Obviously that's a minimum security prison as others have said, most chainsaw-murderers would probably be in a much harsher prison.

I think that, while the US shouldn't be going all the way to the Norway level of liberal-ness, Norway does have a point.

The amount of time you can spend in prison in the US for a minor assault (like a small fight) is ridiculous. Does it help lower crime rates? Fuck no, it raises them, because while over here, you'd be out in well under a year, and off your record in 5, over there you're then an ex-convict, so basically no real job prospects. So you're then left with two choices: Work in McDonalds/do manual labour for a pittance, or steal cars.

Multiple times in a year fans riot after sporting events (usually championships) and they are of different racial backgrounds. What's worse? Rioting after a tragedy or a sporting event?

I think its mostly south america and eastern europe countries that riot, at least from what I have seen.
