No Mr President. The people have spoken and that is why there wont be a vote The american people do not you wiping your ass with the constitution and bill of rights. Stop using politics to control your people. Stop making up bullshit stats to manipulate the people of this country. Stop making up lies and putting the world on the verge of WW3. Go golfing or take a 4 year vacation. We really dont want to make any more changes. You have already lied about everything you campaigned for.

How many times has Obama used executive orders to get legislation passed against the will of the people. It wasn't too long ago the he decided that illegal alien invaders should be granted amnesty.

Sorry man, but you might be living in a bubble if you don't think it's possible that the majority of the people want increased gun controls, because even according to a Fox News poll they do.

I'm mostly pointing this out to highlight the fact that just because "the people" (appeal to majority) or the Constitution/courts/government (appeal to authority) say something is good or bad, doesn't make it so.

During the campaign he said he wanted to bring back an assault weapon ban. The people elected him.

Bush also said he supported assault weapon bans and increased background checks. The people elected him twice, also.

It's not the parents that are the concern, it's the lobby group they brought onboard. They can call in favors to the WH, to Congress, the media. They can even draft up bills. Right now the tone of the press coverage is changing in what looks like an attempt to marginalize anyone who is against gun control legislation. No matter what the issue is, it's fucked up that things work like that in D.C.

nothing this wind bag says or does shocks me. think of all the thing the constitution stands for and if you want someone who embodies the polar opposite all you need is a still shot of Obama.
I wish i could say the grass is greener on the other side and there was a nice place to go bu there is not with the exception of say switzerland or iceland but the whole planet is going marxist.

Which is why that piece of shit is not president. Take one look at that shady John Mccain and you know he had something to do w/ Mitt's nomination. He wasn't even a viable candidate. As to Obama, he did what snakes do. Said nothing about guns in his first term. And pounced all over it before the votes tallies were barely finished. His foreign policy is worse than any president in 100 years. He has expanded DHS 10 fold. He has eliminated any shred of transparency from the office. He has become the first president to reactivate his campaign to push an agenda. He raised taxes on the middle class when he swore he wouldn't. The debt is to the moon. He is inciting WW3. He has made it legal to in prison Americans with no judge, jury, and only executioner. I could go on and on.
 
Does the government work for us, or do we work for the government? How can the president claim the lawful power to kill whomever he wishes and at the same time ask Congress to incapacitate our ability to defend ourselves against those who might seek to kill us?
