Following this assumption, it would also appear that concealing this tidbit would be high on Corporate America's agenda. For example, keeping its consumers occupied with massive amounts of entertainment for the layman and Left vs. Right propaganda in all of main stream media for the more politically involved.

This would keep the middle and lower classes distracted while those with the most money use corporate funded Government agents to rape the people of their rights in order to fatten their pockets and increase their power via unconstitutional bailouts, medicare bills, etc.

......Naaaw, only America-hating conspiracy nuts would consider silly stuff like that
