Obama is about to fuck us....

So a little wrong is okay because big wrongs were made in the past?

No, I'm not saying that, but it's the severity with which people are treating these things. There's a difference between saying the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to your military, and making a bad & risky $500m investment on a renewable energy company, or bowing to some guy in Japan, or Saudi Arabia, or whoever the fuck Obama bowed to. Maybe he bowed to two people, I don't know.

But yet, people are treating these things with the same severity, which kinda leaves me scratching my head.

I don't know, maybe I got this wrong, as I'm basically just an outsider looking in. To be honest, I don't particularly care about happens in the US. I'm just hanging out here in Asia, enjoying the weather, good food, cheap beer, and watching my savings constantly increase every month. :)

I was worried he was going to announce capital controls before I get the rest of my money out of the US. They're coming ya know. Eurozone already has some in place with more to come. In Greece and Spain they've already started freezing bank accounts, set limits on cash transactions, and the governments are helping themselves to people's bank accounts. Think it won't happen in the US? When it does it will be too late if you haven't already diversified.

That's because people dont give a fuck about the travesties abroad as much as they do about the ones that are happening in their backyard.

In Spain, you can no longer make a cash transaction above $2500... that's ridiculous. How are you suppose to make it rain money in the club with less than $2500? That's shit's a drizzle...

The great thing about large amounts of cash is that it works very well for bribes.

I don't know, whatever. All I know is I enjoy going to sleep at night knowing the guy who holds the launch codes for the world's largest nuclear arsenal can speak in full & coherent sentences. Good enough for me! :)

That was their excuse too. But let's be serious, the people bribing are still going to bribe with cash. It's the law abiding citizen's who's rights they are taking away under the cover, if "stopping corruption". You think the people accepting bribes in Spain, are going to ever deposit that money? And if they do, I doubt they will be putting it into an bank account in Spain, if they are taking bribes on behalf of their influence in Spain.

All this does is put one more invisible chain on their citizens.
