So am trying to relocate my office current rent is 1000$. But since the biz is been taking a little hit ( just a small one ) i decided to relocate to more modern office and my staff agree with me ,

but here comes the problem am not a good NEGOTIATOR. other then that i can price stuff out

i went to look for a small office space from 500sq to 1000 sq ,( We dont need that much to work on space wise ) but it seems everything is fucking insanely high priced . i mean for a city that i live in. i get some people asking 20 to 30 $ a sq , to me that's insane

Any suggestions on how can i get a better priced office , or a techinque , if anyone has an office , but you know advice would be good

oh and please dont give me a link to regus those bastards are even worse their asking 3700$ for 500 sq office

Try the Craigslist Office/Commercial section. I found some retail space near me for 0.50/sq foot. Not NNN rates either...flat 50 cents/sq foot. It's a small developer that buys out neglected strip malls for next to nothing then drops the price to get occupancy. Got a 3 year lease at that rate. Basically retail space at warehouse pricing.

There was another guy selling spaces in Wells Fargo High Rises for about $1/sq foot..somewhat ratty buildings, but of course, you can make the interior nice.

That may not exactly fit your needs, and I'm sure the Dallas area is cheaper, but there may be something similar.

Dude you're in Troy, you're gonna pay Troy prices. If you're trying to save money in that area try Sterling Heights, Warren etc. You can even get office space in downtown Detroit for less than that. Check out some of Dan Gilbert's properties.

What answer are you looking for? You're from Metro Detroit you should know there is a shit load of office space in the suburbs for less than you're paying. Here's a hint - everywhere except Troy, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Royal Oak and maybe a couple others I'm forgetting, so that leaves you about 30 other suburbs to choose from.

If you can't afford an office in Warren for instance, then maybe you should be working out of a garage.

you can get some really schwank space here in south fl for a doller a square - i got a 1400sqft office with bathroom for under that

Lol. Got the hookup. 8,500 sq ft (the entire floor) in the premier district downtown for...get it... $2400 a month! It's a steal! But I know the owner. When I first looked at it there were like 7 different smoking devices clearly used by the owner to smoke the mary jay. Lol's were had
