Instead of having multiple threads regarding the GOP debate we can centralize discussions here.

My first comment, they have been ignoring Paul so far and Perry and Romney have been bickering back and forth. I also, hate all their statements start with "I".

Hate to come off as Paul fan boy but they are seriously not giving him the time of day, letting others speak well past their time and quickly cutting him off.

Romney sounds like a little boy eager for his teacher's approval, Cain is in the weeds(Chile? Really?), Ron Paul sounds whiny as usual, Bachmann looks like a deer in the headlights, and these disgusting communist hack moderators are some of the most corrupt scumbags I've ever seen.

And Perry's got SWAGGA.

He feels special because he's the only former democrat now sporting an R in front of his name.

EDIT: Actually he's 1 of 2, my bad.

Im not going to argue with you about Ron Paul, we've done that before. But Herman Cain is doing great IMO, the Chilean model for retirement is a great idea. Perry is just another corrupt, no substance bible thumper which is why I can understand your fondness for him.

"This fence is designed to keep us in." HAhahahahaa who comes up with this shit?

I think he brings up a brilliant point. I can see them coming up with so many loopholes you need to jump through in order to leave, more government control means less freedom, you understand that right?

The problem is that MOST people who just heard RP say that now thinks he's crazy because they were probably not taught about the Berlin Wall :)

You people realize the U.S. has two borders, right? They're only talking about building on the southern border. Good lord.

Not taught, or forgot. And not just the Berlin wall, look at why this country was founded in the first place, the oppressive British government taxing and fucking everyone to hell. Paul is the closest to a modern Thomas Jefferson as we are going to get right now.

He was referencing the philosophy behind constructing walls to keep people out. That same mentality can be and most likely used to control those within.

The thing that I think is hilarious is the idea of a massive single wall being the solution to keeping people out. The solution that makes most sense is by taking away the extensive perks that come with crossing the border. This massive wall idea sounds like something you'd see in a cartoon.

Correct, something like a wall is addressing the symptom not the cause. We could also give Hellblazer an M16 and he could handle the border as well.
