Official Wickedfire Ron Paul Marketing Campaign

First off, I am a supporter of Ron Paul and his campaign. It was stated in this thread that he is more well known now then in 2008. Google Trends might show a slightly different story.

You have to realize though that this was at the peak of the "Google Ron Paul" campaign as well as lots of media coverage on a really hot primary season starting to heat up.

I volunteer for whatever help I can give. Not in the same league with you guys, but have a lot of time on my hands. And I'm 100% for getting Ron Paul elected in 2012.

Some observations:

1) Biggest issue is that the media pretty much ignores or denigrates RP.

Classic example is a CNN article
TRENDING: Poll shows an unsatisfied presidential electorate
This article refers to a Bloomberg News Poll THAT DOESN'T EVEN INCLUDE RON PAUL and therefore makes the article very misleading. This is not an accident. Best thing you can do here is get everyone you can to voice their displeasure with CNN and Bloomberg.

Politico is another glaring example. Almost every article about GOP candidates with have a heading with a picture of Mitt Romney in the middle and some other candidates that aren't Ron Paul. An article today about fund-raising did not even mention Ron Paul.

CNN had a poll in May which showed that Ron Paul was most favored to beat Obama. Now when they do polls, they run Obama against a generic Republican candidate.

Ron Paul is being shoved under the bus big time.

2) The Christian attack -- they tried to oppose him on abortion, but could not make that stick. Now they harp on the legalization of drugs and especially on the homosexual issue. And his associations -- Adam Kokesh and Lew Rockwell come to mind.

3) Old people. Ron Paul has made no secret that he wants to get rid of Social Security and all entitlements. You have to make them understand that he is not advocating getting rid of it for people that are currently in the system. He wants to give young people the option NOT to take social security and start weaning the country away gradually. He stated that by getting out of the wars and cutting foreign aid, we might actually have the money to cover Social Security and Medicare.

4) Obamacare -- Ron Paul stated as president he would stop any further implementation of Obamacare. (Not sure how he would do that..) Most people do not understand how evil and insidious Obamacare is. That's an education in itself.
