Alright now this is starting to piss me off. The sponsored links on the forum where do they come from? The ones I'm talking about are the 486x60 banners half way down the pages, one always displays images and the other is Google text ads.

What is the network that always displays image ads? Is it Adsense or something else?

I just seen the Crush Calculator banner on here, yeah thats right on WickedFire out of all places, I've been trying to get that damn banner on one of my sites for well over a week now and my competitors are displaying that Ad on there sites day in and day out and I know it will convert well on my site so if you can tell me what network are displaying the image banner ads on wicked fire I can finally track down the Crush Calculator to put on one of my sites.

Or if anyone other then Jon knows where they come from feel free to let me know. Also if they are Adsense ads how the fuck does one go about displaying only one single advertisement on there site day in and day out with Adsense?

its just adsense. he checked the image only ads checkbox on the top one and put the text only on the bottom.

Ok everyone thats what I kind of thought was going on there but here is what really fucks me up, on certain competitor sites of my own, they display that one love calculator advertisement every single time I visit, its a flash banner ad which takes your name when you submit the form.

Now I've never been able to figure out how to get Google Adsense image ads to ONLY and ALWAYS display the SAME advertisement in the same adblock over and over again, if this is actually whats going on.

Fuck hang on I'll come back to this once I check the source code of the competitor I am talking about.

EDIT: Ok there site is displaying that advertisement as an image ad from Adsense, but how in the fuck do they get to choose that one ad to be displayed on there site over and over and over again for weeks now. That is whats fucking me up because I thought you had no control over the type of ads Google displays on your site, well at least not the power to say always display ad B.

Simple. It's using Referrals, the AdSense PPA stuff (i.e. AdSense Setup > Referrals).

Now, I'm pretty sure it's still in Beta and invite-only, so if you don't see Referrals listed in your AdSense account you're fucked.

Anyway, you can pick specific Referral 'Products' banners and/or text ads and show those exclusively. This is not 'image ads' but Referrals.

But remember, this stuff is PPA, not PPC.

That could very well be it, I just spent 30 minutes looking for the product but could not find it anywhere I'll keep searching though, I completely forgot about the Adsense PPA system, I signed up for it awhile back but never got an email or anything but since its on my list I must be signed up for it haha.

The Adsense is coming down today anyway. We were just giving it a trial run to see if it would outperform the in-house PPC solution that's being developed for us. Needless to say, it didn't. What a shocker.

Thank god!
It seems retarded, but that extra half page of scrolling was killing me.

Well, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but if you look at the Entertainment category, 2nd from the top is something called 'Perfect Lover Calculator' that kinda sounds like what you're talking about. It's ranked three stars, so it apparently converts well.

It's $A6.15 (what's the A mean?) per conversion. Give it a test run and see how it goes...

I looked on mine and it doesn't show that offer. It must show different things based upon different accounts or some shit, I'm just going to steal the code from the competitors site and change the pub-ids and channel to see if that works.

Wow, that PPA is pretty cool, I just saw it myself...
Okay, here's a tip....and some boobies. Scroll down to keep reading, if you can resist getting stuck right here.

On the AdWords side (not AdSense) if you're in the PPA program (I was invited, not sure if it's 'open' yet) you can create your own PPA programs driving traffic to your site. Since it's PPA, you can get 'free' traffic if it doesn't complete the action you're paying for, like signing up for a newsletter.

So, for something like an Arbi site, you can create text ads and/or banner ads to your site. I bid somewhat high ($2 - $5) for a newsletter sign-up, since that will entice people to proactively select my ads to display, as discussed earlier in this thread.

When the traffic arrives, it's free unless they sign up for your newsletter. Then, hopefully they just click away on your ads. ROI = infinite%

I also do this on some aff sites where I'm actually happy to pay for the newsletter signup, as it always pays for itself.

Not that this would matter to most people here, but it can also be looked at as a huge branding potential, just getting 'face time' for your ads with a potential CPM of $0.00

There's a lot of angles to work with this one...

blervin, DONT FUCKIN POST PORN IN A THREAD WITHOUT THE NSFW OR BOOBIES ICON, MY FUCKIN LITTLE SISTER JUST WALKED BY ASSHOLE

Yeah, and quit giving me more ideas to try out too, god damn it. I've got enough shit on my plate right now. I'm sick of these "out of the box" bullshit ideas. I'm not going to stop thinking about how to implement this for days.

(Being sarcastic, sometimes I know you can't tell on a forum, thanks for the heads up on that.)
