Hahaha Glad you found the site useful. My friend showed me this site back in 2000. He bought a home in Costa Rica for 180'000.oo Hasd a 4 bd/ 2.5 bath home and a 2/1 guest house on 4 acres of beachfront property. He pays like 20$ a month for electric, 80$ month for a phone and has Satelite Cable. He pays 2 locals to maintain the whole premises for like 20$ a week. They will even go to the market for him and do all his shopping. He loves it there, I have been down there a few times.

So I actually think if I ever did move out of the US , Costa Rica will be my new Casa.

Glad you liked the site..lol. SOme good deals, and the majority of the site is geared towards ExPats. Costa Rica has like one of the largest ExPat communities in the world.

A goal to strive towards, get that vacation home you always wanted..lol

Costa Rica is very cool. It's definitely on my list. I was there earlier this year and had one of the best times of my life. But it seems like a vacation place. I need more misery in my day to day life to feel like I am accomplishing something. Nevetheless, I am very much considering it.

Unfortunately, I am headed to Japan for awhile for work. Hopefully North Korea doesn't bomb the place while I am there.

I think quite a lot of people will have already seen it, kind of relates to the topic as the 9/11 has been mentioned, does make me question a lot of stuff.

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-7218920724339766288&q=9+%2F+11+documentary

I don't think there will ever be another World War liked it used to be, greater forces will come into play first.

Interesting. I watched the first part of it but will have to finish it later. The only video I've seen along the same lines was the one about the so called plane that flew into the Pentagon and how there was no way it was a plane.

Some interesting stuff here also. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_Conspiracy

I would like to believe that the US is not capable of something like that, but none the less I find it interesting to read.

hmm the video i seen of the plane into the pentagon, definietley looked like a plane. They actually showed it in frame clips, so you could actually see the wings ! Let the conspiracy theorists continue!
The only video released was that 5 frames or whatever from a time lapse camera. There is no way you could see wings in that footage. I find it ridiculous that the covernment won't release any of the other videos from security cameras and such as they would provide conclusive proof.

I've seen those videos as well; i dont put much into them they look like they were made by internet kiddies.

I think we're talking about two different videos. I know the video you're talking about, although I couldn't make out any wings or anything. Anyway, the movie I was originally talking about can be found at http://www.pentagonstrike.co.uk/flash.htm

All of these conspiracy theories have been disproven and that one has been disproven by many different sources. I don't feel like digging them up....

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize they had been disproven by anyone except for the government.

Not sure how many will agree with me, probably few, but this is one the topics that are never worth arguing about.
None of us have all the facts, most of us believe that we are correct in what we think is true.
Not only are half the arguments here empty, but they accomplish no purpose.
Convincing a fellow member on a forum will not sway the course of politics.
In other words, it's a waste of time.

I think it's relevant and sometimes fun to talk about this kind of stuff. I think the world is worst off when we don't talk about our problems.

Liberals may get a little teary-eyed :sadcrying4: from the heat, but we're all friends!

I love america, I hate taxes:) But I pay the taxes even though I dont feel it is constitutional for us to have to pay them. Whole other story.,,lol

We are #3 in the WORLD for having the lowest tax on personal income. Who's ahead of us, Mexico (#1) and Korea (#2).

this is by far one of the most expensive countries to live in , in the world

Wrong , see above about the taxes. Plus, how much your cost of living is, depends on what city you live in, and the type of lifestyle you have/want.

I'm sure your friends' $180k home in Costa Rica is an average home. The real nice homes in Costa Rica are in the millions. Just a nice condo is in the $150k mark. What he has there, is nothing he can't get here. Maybe a different ocean view, but that's it. You can get maids and all that he has and more, here in the US, for the same price..
