Yup, I thought it would be annoying at first but it hasn't bothered me at all. I'm getting the same volume of sound at half the level, as in 3/10 sounds as loud as my old pair of ear phones at 6/10. Not to mention the second I used the Shure's I could tell the difference. Definitely worth $100.

Figured I'd get a picture otherwise people would just be thinking I was kidding.
Prior to the DAI cables, I was using some thick koss over the ear models that were 80$ or so. But you can understand why I'm not quite the audiophile to get anything more expensive.
