Orange County, Calif AM meetup

Smax- thanks for offering to host. We will def take you up on that. If we could do something late in the day, say 4-5pm , that would be best for me, or anytime Sunday after 11 am. Friday afternoon too...
 
Sure no problem affiliate army maybe we'll do a 2pm to 5pm thing or something like that. I'll see what I can put together as far as some topics I or others can talk about. Anyone interested in talking about something please let me know. Don't know how many people we have but maybe folding chairs, office chairs and a projector to talk about some stuff might be cool let me know what you guys are thinking. Or we could start at the office for a few hours then move to a restaurant and grab some grub and brews and bs. Just let me know what you guys are thinking.

Definitely down for this. I'll see you guys there :).

Not exactly sure about the brews, I'm still a "youngin'", but I'll be sure to have fun while watching you all through the window. :smilie_weihnfenster
 
will be in miami with a vixen. otherwise i'd make the drive from LA.

Looking forward to giving my talk, as I've said before I'm very new to AM but not new to math/business/speaking with groups. Although I'm also nervous because I know I will be presenting to so many people that have been doing this longer than me.

Any suggestion of the sophistication I should shoot for with my talk? Start with the most basic of how to make a campaign with facebook down to what a LP is, cloaking redirects and tracking to split test and increase ROI? Or should I start the presentation with the assumption everyone knows how to cloak, track, and split test and just go over the bugs I've noticed about FB and how to capitalize on those?

I figure I will just start with the basics and do a very interactive presentation and speed up or slow down depending on if there are questions about something or now. Which is how I do most presentations, so the audience gets what they need and want and I'm not just talking about what I want.
