Bin Laden was just one man in an entire army of batshit crazy nutjobs that will more than likely be planning a revenge attack now. I imagine his role within al-Qaeda would have been fairly minimal over the past few years.

In the end, this is what the history books will say. It will make Repubs look like incompetent fools who catch shoes with their foreheads while Dems will look like superman who can somehow win the Nobel Peace Prize and clean up Bin Laden in the same term. -Not to mention passing a healthcare bill 100 years in the making and of course squeezing $20 Billion out of BP for their stupid spill. All while making us laugh at Trump.

People are discounting the fact that Al Qaeda has strict, stringent, and traditional rules and traditions.
Each one of them has had to swear an oath to Bin Laden before joining, and continue doing whatever it takes to please him and prove allegiance to him.
Surely there is risk this could spurn a response/rebuttal attack, but you have to believe that they are running around absolutely clueless of what to do at this point.
It just doesnt work in the way of "assigning a new head to Al-Qaeda" and then everyone follows that individual. It is not that cut and dry....however in truth they would have to be completely idiotic to not have some sort of plan drawn up in case this happened.

IMHO Osama died years ago.. he had serious kidney disease back in 2000 and was apparently living in dirty caves without proper medical care for years. I think Obama is just pulling this out the hat to come out as the hero for 2012 elections.

As for the Buried at Sea shit; it does sound a little too skwewy, but the fact is that like after Hitler died, they had to hide the grave. (And didn't want to give the body to Pakistan after UAE turned it down.)

Dude...even the article that you posted as proof of what you are saying clearly states this photo is 2 years old and has been falsely used by media as "the real deal".
Navy SEALs killed the guy and grabbed his body. They then eventually returned to their carrier which would have taken some time and probably several legs to the journey since I believe they were well inland. Muslim tradition says the guy is supposed to be buried within 24 hours and who exactly are they going to return him to?

Yeah, that whole "We have the body thing" sounds a lot like Bill Clinton's "sexual relations" speech.
It's also pretty suspect when sources are claiming to have used facial recognition software to ID the body (no dna) and other sources are stating that the photos can't be released since his head was blown to bits.
Considering that it was 8 years to the day, I would have liked to have seen President Obama give his "Mission Accomplished" speech in a jumpsuit from the flightdeck of the Carl Vinson. It sure was nice of Bushy to keep him on ice all this time.
