read those books. do some trading with fake money. learn/test strategies you learn in options as a strategic investment and try to understand how to trade volatility and make your trades work for you given the information and markets you trade in. you'll learn by trading.

just like affiliate marketing, in equity/options/futures/currency trading you wont find someone giving out the magic bullet. and i know you dont expect that. try not to get to emotionally attached to trades. you have to see windows of opportunity and act on them. i'd also recommend slowly moving your assets to more long term investments as you get older. if you're successful at trading, you wont want to stop. sometimes people let previous success get to their head and they lose a lot, everything or something in between the two. its nice if you have some assets to show for your trading profits.

Nah imo trading volatility with leaps is a mugs game. Your up against near every other professional using options. And your also just giving yourself a 'fair chance' of success.

Look for massively undervalued securities, then use LEAPS to leverage your portfolio.

LEAPS are a great way of taking on non-recourse leverage. If a leaps trade goes bad you only lose your principal... If you leverage most any other way, and the trade goes bad, your broker will be rapping on your door for more cash.
