I would caution anyone from using this service.
I asked them to write a sample article for me, before they started working full time on a set of 500 to 1,000 product reviews (1,000 words each). Not only was the grammar horrible, but the writer copied one of the paragraphs completely from another site. Obviously they didn't have anyone check it over.
When I brought this to his attention, Jake told me that the writer was new (even though I had been promised their best) and he would get someone else to send me a new article. That was 4 days ago and all I've been getting is excuses since then of why they don't have it completed.
I was ready to hire 2-3 writers full-time, but decided not too since they can't even get a sample article sent that doesn't include copied content.

Maybe we had a slack on the content writing side, but we are trying our best. That is the purpose of the free trial, making sure you like the work before paying us out.

I was getting excited for the content but You should really run it through copyscape before you send it out to your clients.

Thanks for the advice, really appreciate. We have team leader's assigned to each department, like SEO, Web Development and also for the Content Writing. I think they had this one went through without checking it. But it's a lesson learned.

And the worst thing you can do is send us an action video with you and a guy doing something funny and with a virus on it. That is not funnny at all.
You should have told us the first day that you don't like the mockup and we would stop or do something else, and if you don't understand TECHNICAL ERROR, we have internet problems, that happens you can't control it. We made every way to get hold of you and let you know the designer is working, i think your just being a pain in the ass and feeling very important, well in your video, the guy your with, thinks you are very important. LOL

Here's what happened, I approached firstpage on tuesday. The free trial wasn't mentioned in the thread at all. He replied back in about an hour (we're in the same time zone, and from chatting to him, he appears to be online day and night?), we chatted a bit, and I say sure let's do it, and he say, "try us first, then if it's okay with you we can begin". Free trial? Why not? So I hit up on his offer, and the next day he got one of his staff on day shift, to transfer to night shift to help me.
I used his trial for 2 days, then signed up on a monthly contract with him, paying each week. Task was keywords research, and link building, and forum posting.
My worker's shift is 9 to 6, and he sometimes starts earlier than that, but he always says bye to me at 6pm! However, he does get his work done, and I get a daily report in excel (I initially requested google docs format, but we found microsoft excel to be more time efficient in the end)
Firstpage's english is top-notched, my VA's english is passible. However I understand Firstpage have better english speakers, if you want blogging needs, which I don't. I only needed link building, and my VA is pretty fast at it.
The most important factor with working with firstpage, is that he is contactable on skype most of the time for me, and any messages I left him he answers out.
His price is also on par with Indian outsourcers, and I'd pay that extra $0.15 for the improved english quality.

Don't forget the "template" he gave me was not original. He also took the EXACT images from WPReviewEngine - Extremely Powerful WordPress Review Plugin and wpreview's homepage then stuck it on a carebrite.com template.
