I made a thread similar to this a while back (or not - it was about how I got brainfog without nicotine). If you don't already smoke, a nicotine patch might help. The effect is probably less than adderall (never tried it) but the yeh my brain is more foggy without nicotine. Non-smokers definitely underestimate the power of nicotine though.
Even if you do smoke I suggest replacing it with patches, because the carbon monoxide and all that other radioactive shit in cigarette smoke cancel out any cognitive benefits derived from nicotine.
