I'm not American but from what I've seen SP slightly insane and I would be very worried for the world if such an un-educated and badly briefed individual had their finger on the button. For some reason though she's sort of a bit hot.
About the interviews - you could play that trick in any country about any politician. Most people no so little about policy. Few read election manifestos for example.

1) I'm shocked, SHOCKED, these people are from Ohio.
2) If Sarah Palin looks to have any chance whatsoever of wining the republican nomination, I'm going to devote serious time and resources to anyone else on that side of the aisle that still has a chance (and if its Ron Paul, I'm going out door to door for him).
3) If Sarah Palin becomes our president I am moving. Not like as in the way a lot of people say that, I am completely 100% serious. At that point I'm giving up on America and getting out while I still can.

Im not sure that BO is as smart as people make him out to be. "Book Smart" and common sense are two different things. My great grand mother had a 5th grade education but was one of the wisest people I have ever known. Ron Paul does have some great ideas, unfortunately, he doesn't have the mass appeal to ever be president.

I would like to see that too actually. I currently work just outside a ghetto in Chattanooga. A lot of the people we employ here live in the ghetto. I'm amazed how wrong they are about Obama's policies.

But can you really , with a straight face, claim that Sarah Palin would be a better president than Barack Obama? At BEST, absolute best, she would be a worse George Bush. At worst, she would put us as a nation back 30-40 years, right back in the middle of the cold war.

Before I take my stance here, there's no way in hell you'll ever have someone running for president these days with a 5th grade (or even a high school) education.
That said, I would much prefer someone with an overabundance of common sense sitting in office than the book smart lawyer swine who've been ruining our country for decades. This statement goes far beyond the office of president.
