Dunno, can you? People were making joke stereotypes about Indians and you got pretty offended, and they weren't out of hate either.
Although I detest her politics and opportunism, I think Sarah Palin is very shrewd because she knows how to market herself, fire up her base and make teh monies. A comparison with Rush Limbaugh would be fair.
This is good for her, but not good for us. There's no way I'd want her running any branch of the government whatsoever.
He would at least know how to use his veto pen unlike the previous and current administrations.
Soooooo much to say here, but I'll start with ... you're right.
One man cannot change everything. By the people electing RP into office it stands for a change in mentality and perception of what the government is and should be. It's NOT supposed to be the beast it currently is and some of the more intelligent people are starting to realize that.
RP will not get elected in 2012, but if he pulls enough votes we WILL see some governor, congress & senate seats get occupied by people with common sense and allegiances to personal liberties & state's rights whose bottom lines aren't influenced solely by lobbyists. If he does well enough in 2012, we'll have a shot to take our country back in 2016 since we'll finally have a 3 party system.
Be as sick as you want of the Ron Paul worship ... it's not every century where we have a politician who is interested in doing the right thing. Someone who votes for RP isn't basing their vote on smoke and mirrors ... or hoping he's got the magic pill that cures the economy. America has an over-bloated government, debt up to it's ass and a constitution that's been used for toilet paper. Realistically it's decades away from standing on it's on 2 feet.
Some of us are shooting for real "change" and "hope". That doesn't come from a sock puppet reading from queue cards provided by the powers that be ... "yes we can".
Ooh yea, and it's our fucking country and if you're sick of hearing about a true patriot ... tough shit.

This crowd has two thoughts......lower taxes and smaller gov't. Pretty much what the average conservative thinks. (and something I'm not totally against, but it isn't my only two thoughts)
Also, I hate it when conservatives talk about religious freedom and in the next sentence spout abortion crap.
They always forget.......FREEDOM FROM RELIGION too.
