Are you aware of Pandora? If you like music it's the best thing out there, I love it...

Basically you enter an artist or a song and the system plays it and music like it for you, it's great for finding great artists you didn't knew about but just listening to it is very satisfying as well of course :)

As a side point, they have a very interesting advertising method, I mean the whole look of the page changes to match the theme of the ad displayed.

It's US only, and I am European but I use Soxify to bypass those gay US only restrictions...

Last.FM has been doing this for a while. Good idea generally, though.

Don't know which countries can sign up for We7.com but that's a fantastic resource for free legal music, too.
 
Pandora was awesome, right up until they stopped us Brits from using it.

Damn shame if you ask me.
 
Pandora is awesome. The only aspect I'm not really too fond of is the fact that you are limited to the amount of songs you can skip. I only listen to country, and either I can state the song word for word, or it's so fucking old. Otherwise, Pandora is terrific.
