Password generators?

I second eating large volumes of alphabet soup until you start seeing passwords in it.
 
Take a password that you use/like, combine it with the login info, get the MD5 hash, use the first X characters.

Example:

Code: 
echo wickedfirepinchyfingersgaywebmaster666 | md5sum
fbb0f212cf884d5da03f243a4ac5e00d  -
You could use the first 9 characters... fbb0f212c

Then you have an easy to remember password, unique passwords for every account, passwords that are easy to generate from any computer without special software, and you're not storing password info on some company's server. Obviously you need to remember the input string, but even if I had a file that said:

Websites: [sitename][username][password] - use first 9 char

I'd feel pretty secure because you'd have to know that 'gaywebmaster666' is my password and I'm using the first 8 characters of the md5sum.

+1 for 1Password as I've been a user for a long time. Lately the app won't update passwords when they change and I swore it use to ask me if I would like to update. Now I have to go into the profile and update manually. Either way it's great for generating and storing strong passwords.
 
I have never used a password generator to create a password.

I just think no one should need a password generator.

If I cannot generate a password using my brain, maybe I should be ashamed of myself. No disrespect to those who use password generators.
 
I am using "cuddlyduddly44000" for all my accounts for many years and it works fine for me.
Just think of something random and always add some numbers in the end and you'll be fine. Best of luck. Stay safe bro.

And you can create a new/unique 20+ digit password that contains upper/lower case, numbers and symbols for each and every login you have online? And then remember all those 100s of 20+ digit passwords not to mention the usernames to go with them all? You must be some sort of savant.
 
Just use a phrase you can remember with the site name attached, for example:

N1gg4StoleMyGmail

or

PhaggotsTakeItUpTheYahoo
