Paul Walker dies..

The news just reported that the car was going......get this shit.......between 40 and 45 mph!!!!!

lolololololololollolololololoololol

Ive recked like 3 cars at 40-65 and they didnt look anything like that, 1 of them snapped a pole.

Unless porche is made of paper, but its a 500k racecare, do they come equipped with a roll cage in them?

The Carrera GT has a carbon fibre monocoque, like a race car. It's more protective than a normal car. I think someone was going very, very fast.

Yeah, sorry.

That guy was going fast to make the car fold like this.
Anything else is bought media.

As for the rest of this thread?

A guy dies doing the exact shit that is promoted in the sub room temperature IQ movies he stars in.

And you fags are crying how good a person he was, etc?

FUck that.

Its a street car. It would not pass tech in any SCCA sanctioned racing class. No roll cage, and in all likelihood no proper racing harness. Also they weren't wearing hats (racing helmets). They might still have been killed by the impact anyway, but for sure they'd have stood a better chance.

Next time shit goes bad you might want to try and focus on Where You Want the car To Go and Totally Ignore where it happens to be Pointed. Just sayin.

So what if his most popular movies were car/racing related? Who cares? Because he drove a car fast in a movie, does he deserve to die that way? Of course not, it's just a role.

I didn't know him personally, most others here didn't either, but from all accounts he was a good guy. Most Hollywood types are complete jerks with a god complex. From reports (well before his death) Walker wasn't this type, and was genuinely a nice guy. I saw one report where a soldier who just got back from Iraq came forward and said that Walker paid for his engagement ring. The soldier didn't even know who Walker was, had never met him. This was about 10-years ago. Never heard that story before, because apparently that's the kind of guy he was, helping people out when he could, and not looking for a pat on the back or publicity for doing so.

Along with Walker there are a few other movie stars who seem like they'd be fun guys to just hang out with, such as Adam Sandler, Mark Wahlberg, Kevin James, and a few others I'm no doubt forgetting...point is no matter what you think of their movies, they just seem to be good "not of hollywood" type guys. And, I think that's why so many people are "crying" as you put it, about his death. Because they can better relate to someone such as Walker, than your average movie star.

The problem is that car was designed for race car drivers, you know, the ones that make a living driving wildly insane cars, not the ones who pretend to be for movies.

Even a professional driver is going to have a hard time controlling a Carrera GT at significant speeds. Its a race car adapted for the street and really has no place on the road.

Walker wasn't driving the car, his friend (who was a pro race car driver) was driving. I've read some reports that say it may have been a mechanical failure and that steering control was lost.
Sources connected to Always Evolving -- the shop co-owned by Walker and the Porsche driver Roger Rodas -- tell TMZ they saw evidence of a fluid burst and subsequent fluid trail before the skid marks at the accident scene.

The AE sources point to the fact there is a noticeable absence of skid marks until just before the point of impact. They say if Roger had lost control the skid marks would show swerving, but instead the marks were in a straight line. They feel this cements the theory the driver didn't have steering control.

Also suspicious -- the fire spreading so quickly in the front of the car. The sources say flames would be expected in the rear where the engine is ... but fire in the front reinforces their theory of a fluid leak of some sort.

Then again, you have to be very careful about the surfaces on which this car is driven .. Porsche even released a memo warning dealers..so who knows what really happened...I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Even professional race car drivers make mistakes. Interesting about the skid marks though.

Even if that car was caged they would have been fucked, at least Walker since he was on the passenger side. A side impact concentrated to, judging by the tree, a 6-8" impact area is going to fold any car.

Allen Simonsen died at Lemans this year when his car spun and hit a fence with a tree right behind it. They think he smashed his head off the tree when the car folded in:

Yes, you're absolutely right. Hitting something narrow is very bad the forces aren't spread over a wide surface it's like plunging an ice pick through a bullet proof vest.

It's articles like that that makes people think conspiracy theorists are nut jobs.

a conspiracy to supply victims of Typhoon Haiyan with a prototype permanent birth control drug hidden in medicinal supplies and food aid.
Seriously?

Someone with their head screwed on straight would first look to see who benefits the most from Paul's death. In this case, Fast and furious serps used to talk about Hillary Clinton up and down the page. Google fast and furious now, you'll see a bunch of "PW is dead" posts.

This "accident" is just a well executed ORM job.

That's some next level shit. But the Clinton's would never hurt anyone to further their careers.

Actually, the Clinton Global Initiative is changing lives all over the world, along with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. That's right, I read the cover story on the new Wired magazine. They are doing some good shit.
