Paypal in India is close to dead

And Payoneer has been doing things like this as well:

Payoneer Stopped Services in India

I cant believe how these companies operate. Their fraud detection services suck and they blame entire countries. Brilliant!

And people who never have disputes or problems get to keep looking for ways to pay or get paid.

This is only bad news for Indians trying to avoid from payin' tax.

Receive payment -> bank account.

Credit card -> Send payment.

No problem at all.

I am fucked big time..

We can't withdraw more than $500 per transaction. WTF ??

After every transaction, we just got 7 days to withdraw. This has crumbled some good business that are operating from India. This is not Paypal's fault to be true but the fucking Indian, Main GOVERNMENT BANK, "The reserve bank of India" has fucked up our lives.

Why did they ban? From PayPal foreign money is coming to India and that's good for India's economy right?

Don't worry. I believe still you have many alternatives. Try services like fastspring, etc. There you can transfer your paypal money to a US virtual bank account and withdraw from any ATM using the master card which they will give you.

Probably because Paypal couldn't figure in an effective way to automate bribes to public officials for payments over a certain amount.

One or the other day the indian government will make some or the other rule that will temporary suspend the online money sending and receiving services so that each and every user of such service will self-declare their taxable money, which I think is a good initiative taken by authority so that each and everyone pay tax. And we can expect some development? :338:

Indian Govt. ain't happy with online earners. They don't care about their fucking corrupt ministers but they care about every small penny we earn.

some things are really bizarre, nobody benefits from this... oh well bring on phillipines!

actually phillipine workers benefit :P

Lord_B will ban RBI in February.
May be 29th Feb 2011.

lol i dont earn money more then 500 Dollars in a week so i am not too worried :)
It does'nt matter whether you earn $500 per week or not. Even if you earn $0.01 it should be transfered to your bank account with in 7 days. So obviously paypal will deduct Rs50/- as your transfered amount is less than Rs7000/-

So sad. :1orglaugh:

Can't you Indians use Plimus or something? Granted, it's a tad bit more expensive than PP, but you'll still be accepting it as a payment option while not holding an Indian PP account altogether.
