Perez Hilton Could Go To Jail For Miley Cyrus No-Panties Pic

Legal expert says Perez could face federal charges...could be career "suicide".

We know: when it comes to celebrity gossip, there have to be limits. Perez Hilton could face super-serious charges for ignoring one of those limits by tweeting a photo of Miley Cyrus climbing out of a car without underwear this week. You won't believe how insane this is.
Earlier this week Perez Hilton reportedly tweeted a photo of 17-year-old Miley Cyrus climbing out of a vehicle and wearing a dress but no underwear. Perez warned: "If you are easily offended, do NOT click here ... Oh, Miley! Warning: truly not for the easily offended!"
But the warning was not enough. The fact that Perez published the photo could bring a super-damper on his career. Perez Hilton has said that he gets over 8 million pageviews in a normal day, and there are many media companies who have sought to buy him out -- but this latest Miley move could very realistically be the end of Perez Hilton's celebrity blogging days.
A legal expert shouldn't have to mention what kind of consequences Perez Hilton could face for tweeting a crotch-shot of a minor. Says L.A.-based attorney Jeff Douglas, a child pornography case specialist: "We're not talking about a misdemeanor. You don't have to know what the definition of the law is, all you have to do is knowingly distribute the photograph." Douglas also called Perez's move "suicidal" to his career.
Salon also reported that Perez Hilton "could be prosecuted on the state or federal level -- or both -- with a conviction potentially resulting in a 15 year sentence and lifetime registration as a sex offender."

Bollocks he'd get 15 years - it's a 17 year old getting out of a car with no knicks on, not a photo of a 2 year old shagging a horse.

It really pisses me off when media quote maximum sentences for stuff rather than typical sentences - stupid distortion to grab headlines.

Still fucking stupid (and creepy) though.

The photo's fake for sure and interestingly no site has "dared" to link the "original" photo for examination. BTW this tells a LOT about the typical Yankee hypocrisy. The whole showbiz seem to be nowadays about picking girls at a very young age and turning them into a "slave" to the showbiz machinery. A natural step in this seems to be nowadays that such celebs have to "show off" somehow to keep up the buzz. At least that's what the older ones suggest. So the younger ones do it too. And instead of these little girls getting slapped by their mom, it's actually the media that's censored and threatened with lawsuits/jail for daring to cover a girl's indecent exposure. Freedom of speech my ass. I can compare this to the idiotic laws in America that forbid sexual contact with a "minor" for everyone that's over 18. So if a 18 year old boy has a 17 year old GF, he can get easily arrested for child molestation. WTF?! And the way this law's enforced means that ANYONE can report it to the police. And the retarded Christian fanatics don't care that they'll destroy a you guy's life for loving a girl that's a year younger. Or is it part of the "American dream" too? :P

Corrected - just read that it's a 15 year min, sentence.

Fuck man, US laws are hardcore.

Over here he'd get a community service order.
