Hey! Look at this! Something all of Wickedfire agrees on!!

It's a Miracle!!!!!!1111!!!!11
I disagree, and believe it was an act of violence toward a harmless animal that was guilty of nothing more than trespassing.

I have set up a bank account to raise money to aid the murdered fly's 210,640,001 survivors, and your contributions are appreciated. (Send the money to me.)

Thank you.

Lemme guess, you're trying to raise $6 USD for a truck bed full of goat turd?
I'll paypal you a buck or two for that.

stop it you guys. by breathing you're killing millions of microbes.

seriously though, I think we have enough damn flies to make up for the one obama killed.

remember this ad? does it make anyone else hungry?

I want to nibble on her parts. :)

PETA is a bunch of crazy people. Its one thing if they get mad about Vick and his dogs but a fly? Just trying to get publicity again I guess and they have been successful.

I'm happy to look at their naked girls, but it's gonna take more than that to turn me vegan.... I think one of them would have to blow me or something...

and not just any peta girl, I want one of the ones from the ads

I'm all for animal welfare, and I think we'd all be a hell of a lot healthier if we went vego as there are other protein options nowadays... But PeTA drive me fucking insane. They claim most of the media space available to animal rights groups and look like fucking nut cases at the same time thanks to all the hypocrisy.

Just look into their VP, who's a diabetic.... Insulin is made using medical research that abused animals, but her life is too important to give up on, so she can fight on for the animals, even though they insist people don't use medication made from animal trials (which is all of them).
I don't often say this, but someone ought to bomb their HQ.

^^LOL at your sig. Airforcematt needs to take a few pointers from it.

(see what I did there Matt)

Peta is slime. Another feel good politically correct group that does the opposite of what they say.

They get animals that people think they are saving. Last year 95% of them were killed. They have a huge freezer in their center were they keep the dead ones so they don't stink up the place.

They cant place more than 5% of the animals they take in?

They are against the keeping of pets. That's why they kill them.
Better off dead than in captivity is really their unspoken motto.

As a full supporter of animal rights whether it be dogs and cats, cows and pigs or wildlife, I think PETA damage the world of animal rights. Yes they do some good things and have used their clout to change the ways of some very large corporations, but their views on pets in particular borders on insane.

When you hold demonstrations featuring nudists and costumes, you get laughed at and branded as insane. The real issue does not get attention, only the people running it. When you hold demonstrations which aim to educate in a civil manner, well it gets through to people a little better. With that said, when you are dealing with obnoxious pharmecutical and cosmetic companies which torture animals beyond the comprehension of any decent person, I'm all for ALF (Animal Liberation Fund) tactics - but PETA have even strayed from that which I believe was the initial inspiration for their formation.

They recruit famous people to speak out for them, but these celebs don't have much idea of what really goes on. I would not donate any money to PETA as they surely get millions from famous people, while smaller animal welfare and rights groups who go about things the right way continue to struggle for funds.

I highly recommend this blog if you are interested in this subject. It is written by an animal rights advocate (also an author) who exposes the hypocrisy and selfishness of some animal groups. Of particular concern for me was the shock of learning that some large animal shelters in the US sell some surrended animals to research labs - a cruel and utterly disgusting act.
