Yeah, it reminds you that we're animals, too, and subject to the same food chain as everything else.
They did. I dont have the source handy at the monent but I did see a link on Reddit avout it. There were two guys who tried to swim to shore when their boat stalled. They people who stayed on the boat were rescued while the other two were presumed drowning victims. One of them was this guy.

When diving those pre-historic beast remind you that your position in the food chain can change very quickly.
I'm slowly coming to the realization that sharks are fucking dominating people on a much more regular basis than we're being led to believe.
