i got it, tbh all photoshops are so similar its barely worth the upgrade unless your main business is design.

It has some limited 3d support now, somewhat different interface, a few other things that aren't really major.

Its too much if a pain in the ass though, once you've used it a few times it becomes self-aware, and tries to connect to skynet instead of Adobe Updates, and then when you finally get it to connect to Adobe, the fucking updates haven't been invented yet. Software from the future sucks.

Tell me about it. I had to set my system clock ahead to 2017, just to get it to install.

fuck CS4, it's a waste of money if you're already running CS3. Adobe's got a long way to go before a triple digit upgrade becomes worth it - especially considering that CS3 covers damn near everything you'd ever want out of a graphic design program.

Yeah, you're missing a shit load of features using pre CS Photoshop. Although I've not upgraded to 4 myself yet, CS3 runs just fine on XP too.

cs4 has 64bit support in windows.
