Damn right, but I bet if he did have an ad serving system and let thousands of people compete for ad space, he'd make a lot more..

if you are still checking this thread, the consensus is that the clicks are too expensive. we are experienced enough to know that it would be really tough to profit from a campaign.

since you don't have a self-serve system it must really be a pain in the ass to keep switching up the text ads.

why not offer advertisers a great value and concentrate on getting repeat business while you work on your new ad system.

can you offer wickedfire members a special price to get the ball rolling?
 
markus sell the site to someone who knows how to implement a monetization strategy (e.g: self serve advertising)

I've already booked over $100,000 in revenue from affiliates in this forum in the first 10 days of the month. The ads are already really cheap as I sell slightly above what I get in adsense.

The ones who are spending a lot of money are making a lot of money and they constantly optimize creatives and exclude poor converting demographics.

As for self service its coming, I am working on creating a system that will show you which demographics aren't or are clicking on your ads so that you can better optimize.

If Facebook can't manage to run a decent advertising system why do you think 1 guy who works 4 hours a week can?

I attempted to run ads on POF but their turnaround time on replies is absolute shit. I couldn't imagine running shit on their network and wanting to make tweaks to the creative or vertical. Be prepared to run your shit for additional days before you can make any changes. Pure BS.
