Ok, it's pretty well known that IE and Safari suck balls and on top of that, they don't have the first clue how to process a .png image. That being said, what would be the reason for a .png image showing up properly on a couple pages of a site, and then a "missing image" box on other pages. It's doing this for one of my sites in both IE and Safari. It's a footer image, so the code is universal to the site. There's no reason it should be fine on 2 pages, and F'd up on the rest, unless we just blame it on 2 piss poor browser platforms.

I doubt it's a path issue. Most likely you forgot to close one of the tags or have a typo in them.

I assume you're using a script to force the browser to properly display the png...if so, maybe the script didn't load or timed out. I've had that happen randomly when I gave a shit about IE6 and used a script to work around it.

can you please provide us with the URL? or an image of what you are experiencing. Thanks.
