Poker Coach
About Me: I am a relatively new player to enter the poker world, having started January of this year. Like the majority of online players, I was a losing player for the first part of my career. It took me over 6 months before I finally turned myself into a winner. I learned poker the grueling way, through trial and error.

My Mission Statement
I will transform you into a winning player in less than a month through coaching. After 30 days If you aren't winning or haven't seen a significant improvement in your game then I will give you a 100% refund.

Credentials: This Summer I maintained a 275% ROI and had a profit of $2,814. I have experience in all forms of Texas Holdem: Cash, MTT, and SNG. I also am profitable in both live Cash and MTT.

Coaching Offered: I am now only coaching MTT's and SNG's, my Cash ROI% does not justify substantial coaching by myself.

My role as a coach is to patch leaks in your game in addition to exposing you to new concepts. The best way to accomplish this is a mixture of three types of coaching listed below:

Single Sessions

Hand History Review: This form of coaching entails you sending me a copy of the hand history for a recent SNG/MTT Tournament played by yourself. I then review the entire tournament and note any mistakes you made in video format. I charge $10/hr for this service.

Ghosting:This form of coaching allows me to view your play live and make real time adjustments to your game. Whereas Hand History allows me to show you specific "logic" mistakes in your game, Ghosting reveals leaks in your overall thought process. I charge $10/hr for this service.

Concept Seminars: There are crucial aspects to becoming a winning player that cannot be taught through the previous two channels. Tilt Control, Villain Mentality and 2nd Level Thinking, for example, deserve their own "session". In addition, complex moves in poker often requires multiple conditions to be met and this requires an in-depth discussion of the move. Again, I charge only $10/hr for this service.

Packages will be available soon

Short-term Package:
Long-term Package:

Free Reviews: I am currently giving out one free review of Hand History Review, Ghosting, and three free reviews of Concept Seminars to Reputable members.

Falian is good people and definitely knows his shit. He's very well versed and has no problems explaining things in plain english that anyone can understand.

$10/hour is nothing compared to the skillz you'll get. Poker is a LOT more fun when you're the one doing the ass kicking!

what is poker
It's a form of paper click.

OP-
A 180 person tournament takes 2-4 hours to complete. Buyin is $2.20. You rank top 18, you double up. It's a nice way to balance your day during the week. Some of the $20-50 games are fun on the weekend if you're normally placing in the smaller buyin games.

If you're charging $10/hour for tutoring, are you offering any sort of statsbar or anything? I'm the exact same as you, when I play, I play the long inexpensive games.

There's a curve on pokerstars I've found. The freerollers play hard and stupid, the cheap cash tables (.01/.02 to $2/4) play slow and calculated, and the bigger cash tables (5/10+) all seem to play aggressive and bullyish. In other words, the very top/bottom of the scale are a lot more riskier than just settling down in the middle when you're trying to build a bankroll.

If you start with $100 and stick with the $2.20 and $4.40 buyin tournaments, and just play by the book, taking down one big pot every 40 mins, you'll almost always break even or more.

The 180 mans are very soft. Make sure that your shooting for top 3, the payout is so top heavy you don't want to aim for top 18.

I'm sure I would love to play the $20-50 games but I follow strict Bank Roll Management and those games don't fit into my budget.

At this time I do not offer any statsbars, although I always play with one. Check your inbox.

This is a result of a "rock/paper/scissors" like effect found in Poker. The most effective way to play at the lower limits is Nit/Tagish. This is recommended because A.) You extract more value from Donks/Fish with this style, and B.) You do not want to be playing LAG unless you're a very good post flop player.

Obviously if your playing NIT at 5/10 tables you will get run over because the top players CAN play great postflop with a wide range of hands.

If you start with $100 and stick with the $2.20 and $4.40 buyin tournaments, and just play by the book, taking down one big pot every 40 mins, you'll almost always break even or more.

The most important concept in MTT play is understanding how to adjust your style according to your Stack-to-Blind ratio.

After some thought I've added the following lessons to my coaching services. I feel that the concepts covered in these lessons are imperative to becoming a successful poker player. The lack of application of one of these concepts would be similar to someone pursuing a Math major but didn't understand how to subtract.

So, I highly recommend you learn these concepts through me or on your own before hiring me for Ghosting/HHR/Group Sessions:

1. Position and Starting Hand Ranges.
2. Betting and Board Texture.
3. Way Ahead/Behind and Pot Control.
4. Understanding various +EV lines.

Optional: Finding Your Niche.

Edit: Still figuring out how to update my initial post. All of these lessons will be $10.

Ill play you heads up for your summer profits, and if i win this thread gets jacked AND I get your poker lesson clients, only it'll be $25/hour, I cant justify any less.

Blinds start at $10/20, you game?

P.S. I won the last tourney I played with WF members @ the red rock mansion in vegas. :p

I would love to get some poker coaching, but I am a noob and my review would mean nothing to you. *runs away crying*

You should sign up for my Concept Seminar: Bankroll Management. The first thing I'll teach you is that it is a serious mistake to play with your entire bankroll.

You seem very confident in your game, can you link me to your stats?

Live Poker = Online Poker
[ ] True
[x] False

I'll take a review copy -- and then some if you're all that you say you are.

Which Session would you like to reserve: Concept Seminar, Ghosting, or Hand History Review?

The purpose of this service is to transform you from a newb to a pro. Do you play online at all?

Umm, we could go with Concept Seminar -- whichever would be best for someone just starting out -- at least, seriously starting out.

The proper way to ask this is HU4ROLLZ!?! Then harass him nonstop if he declines.
