And Emp - You are right. The cops get worse and worse every year, and us as "Americans" allow ourselves to be told what to do more and more. Just wait until someone chimes in with the "They should be able to get away with anything, they protect us!" How about this, SWAT protects us, the Fire fighters and EMT's save us. The police?
They are the ones that show up when you just got mugged and run your name to make sure you don't have an outstanding ticket they can arrest you for.

I just got a ticket at 2 am this morning, on a side road, for making a u-turn where it doesn't specifically say I am allowed to make a U turn.
Funny thing is, the cop had to make the same U turn to pull me over.

Maybe she was out of control, you know, by being in her car and stuff... And he just needed to make sure the Taser would make good contact... You know... A conductor, like how they put wet rags under the helmet in the electric chair... He just didn't have water handy.

Considering police are rarely charged when they kill people negligently, I am only surprised by any incident where they ARE charged for anything. The thresh hold for most prosecutors to charge police is so high, I think maybe they would be charged if they ejaculated on a child. But ejaculating on a stripper? And not even raping or intentionally killing her? Definitely no charges there. You don't understand how much these brave men risk their lives every day in the line of duty- if they wanna blow off a little steam by shooting the family pet, breaking in the wrong house on a SWAT raid and roughing up some babies and senior citizens, or jizzing on some broad- dont they deserve that right?

And in my hometown a cop shot another cop accidentally. They didn't charge him. They charged the guy that was running from them with I believe murder 2. He didn't have a gun... and was running.
