I know a lot of people who became cops from high school and not a single one of them does it for the money or the bonuses....

Just think of the kind of person who aspires to become a cop

I had a friend who decided he wanted to be a cop out of the blue, presumably because he had nothing else really going for him.

Now he's in the military.
