If Jon wants to make some money, he should start a ban pool on the forum.
Have people pay to get rid of, or pay to keep people. If it hits some number, say $200, then they get banned.
So someone wants to ban LukeP, they put $50 in.
I don't want Luke banned, I put $25 in.
Jon gets $75. Luke is @ +$25 ($50-$25). Once he hits +$200, he's gone. Luke can also pay to keep himself alive on the forum, but if the tide is against him, he's going to pay dearly for the privilege to stay a member.
All bids have to be public too. That puts some social accountability into it beyond straight monetary cost.
Someone smart like Mattseh can work out the finer points of this scheme.
that would result in this site becoming a justin beiber ad hub. or american airlines. or shell oil. just come in, outbid literally everyone into oblivion, and post your ads.
smart.
