All I have is a laptop. A Dell 700M. I have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse plugged into it so it is more ergonomical but other than an external HD, my laptop is my "command center."

Of course, I'm not a programmer, don't do much design work (though I do have Adobe CS3 Master Installed), or run very intense apps.

I have a desk in an office, but I've worked productively (and comfortably) all day while lounging in my recliner or on my back deck. I have to be mobile. It's why I can't work a "real job" in the first place.

that was when i first moved in, it's clean now. i'll post clean pics later.
 
^ did you invest in a chair mat since?

something about seeing office chairs on non-industrial carpets that makes the OCD in me come out. like when someone leaves their windshield wipers in the mid-wipe position.

no i hate those fucking things. go sliding all over hell. i sit at my desk, i don't need to go sliding across the room.
 
At my job, I am sitting on a linoleum floor for the first time.
Fuck, that chair can go a looong way with one push ... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

oh and any of you guys are considering or have considered a glass desk, don't do it. The bitch is impossible to keep clean, tends to make my LCD wobble if I type like a ninja, and the weight limitations suck ass.
