I hear that one or two of you have a blog...

From the makers of TextLinkAds, this shit looks pretty epic for us blog owners with some pagerank.

It ain't bad for the rest of you just trying to get some backlinks either... But the news here is that it's scope and size has the potential to change how blogs are monetized forever.

All you need is some pagerank and you're blogs (wordpress only) will start earning rent money every month... Not much more to it then that.

Yeah yeah, I know there are other services (like textlinkads) to sell links and post space on your blogs already, but this shit is different. -VERY hands free and you RENT your space out, as if each blog you own was an apartment building. -A very nice setup.

I had a similar idea to this, basically a marketplace to buy and sell blog posts. None of this spun content shit though. Overall it's a decent idea.

It's a lot bigger than posts though, D... They sell Blog Comments or just linked Keywords themselves through this service, too.

Shit... I'm seriously thinking about upgrading old XSitePro (static, non-blogs) to wordpress just because I have a bunch with pagerank... Each of those could be earning a LOT more in rents then they are with adcents.

Surely the niche has to be taken into consideration for the value of the link and also for the relevance of the page. If this system works solely on PR (looks that way) then I can't see it working out too well (I wouldn't wanna rent out a dollar link for the month on an insurance site). It is difficult for new sites as well since it does look like Google are phasing out these updates.

Their rates...
PR1 = $0.05
PR2 = $0.25
PR3 = $0.50
PR4 = $1.00
PR5+ = $2.00

Thanks for posting their ranks. That's absolute shit. Maybe they'll rethink their rates and get some decent publishers. :)

An insurance site that's making money with CPA leads or something? Of course not.

An insurance site that is nothing but PLR content MFA?

Heck yeah, I'll take 500 links on it, thank you very much.

From their FAQ:

How long does it take before my blog starts getting links?

As soon as your blog is verified, it is ready to accept links. Advertisers select blogs based on relevancy and PageRank, so you could receive links very quickly or it might take a little bit. It just depends on the Advertisers.

I can't seem to find any info about blog comments vs in-context links...putting some blog comments on a nice site is one thing but spun posts (who writes for this service anyway?) is another. Anyone see info on this?

EDIT: Also, I would want to both pay and be paid differently for those, I can't be the only one thinking this right?

Got a few articles on the PR5 site I submitted. They are spun, junky shit. Still, not like it's an important site, it's just part of my own high PR blog network. I let it run the month and see if it's worth adding more when I get a clearer picture. Probably not worth it as a publisher though unless you are getting high volume.

Looks like they are making 100% on each link.

Was wondering whether it would make more sense to use them as an advertiser. 500 content links (PR1 homepage) at $50 a month would be a good deal to rank a high paying Adsense keyword with decent search volume. Problem would be Google catching on and nuking your entire account.

I had a bad experience with this and some of the similar networks way long back, where they placed my link at the bottom linking to the keyword, under an irrelevant topic. My topic was tech and the link was placed under a religious article, guess what there was no keyword for my link anywhere between the article, but it was looking like a comment at the bottom. So, just kept away from they and went with web 2.0s and article marketing with unique content, though I haven't tested them lately. Let me try again for a new site and check if it works any different, since my experience was more than a year ago.

Does anybody remember tnx.net?

Stuff works pretty good for awhile until/when google figures out the footprint and you're bonked.

If you're going to do this, do it now before it heads south.

On the other hand, those guys still cut me a cheque for paid links on some blogs and the links have been up for YEARS. So what do I now, maybe they can pull it off.

Maybe

Thanks to those who have tried it and posting their experience here. I haven't had the time to get any sites/links into the system yet, but I plan to soon as both a publisher and an advertiser.

I seriously, seriously, SRSLY doubt that any footprints would exist on any of their three link types. -TLA has been fighting google hard on this front for years and still maintains tens of thousands of happy customers. (By looking at their inventory.) -And these 3 types of links are less likely to look spammy still.

Meanwhile, I've used many blog post networks like Linkvana, UAW, and Linkvine... This seems to work more like those, which google has no way of discriminating against at all.

Doesn't the whole thing work off a wordpress plugin?

You're not suggesting that Googlebot would actively go out of its' way to search for a particular wordpress plugin every time it detects a wordpress blog, are you?

I seriously doubt they'd do that for even the most evil plugins out there like blacklinks... Conditional shit like that in the googlebot perl code would slow it down bigtime...

No but it is a footprint, just sayin'.

Btw what is the third link type? In context, blog comments and ...?

Put up a pr1 just to test last night (late). Woke up to 5 big fat pennies - ballin bitches!

Since the site makes nada a post a day would be nice. Over time that would really add up.

I don't know, blogs using autoblog plugins have been known to get deindexed. Googlebot doesn't need to actively "search" for the plugin every time it visits a wordpress site - just a manual culling of the footprint from hq is all it takes.
