I've finally decided to start building some website brands via SEO but have a few questions.

Let's say I purchase a brand new domain with no history.
I get tons of quality content. And some good SEO work.

Should I wait a while and see if I can come across a cheap domain
with PR and history? Or should I just not even bother since this is going
to be my first go around with true SEO depth?

I have tons of experience designing and working with wordpress but just
not any with building a true brand in a niche.

How long are we talking to get a PR? If hypothetically speaking I do everything right and make a solid site.

Thanks guys!

PR Time?

Do 5 at once, let 4 marinate anticipating the first one gets in trouble. If one gets in trouble, pull content down, wait for de index, re upload content to next one.

I don't know if anyone is going to give you real advice. But the answer to your question is just get to work.

You wont get it right until you fuck up a bunch of times.

So go make some mistakes, and you'll get some valuable experience.

I completely agree with your moral.

I'm not new to AM - nor building solid sites.
Don't get me wrong I still have a ton to learn and
have learnt so much here at WF over the past year
just lurking.

But I'm more along the lines asking if PR really makes a huge
difference in the sale price of a website?

Let's say I have an awesome magazine style website with tons
of traffic, great seo, decent amount of inbound links.
But no PR.

Oppose to a awesome magazine style website with not as much traffic,
great seo, decent amount of inbound links.
But a PR1,2,3?

I don't want to waste my time if I don't have too. And I understand this
maybe an insult to some others who do tons of trial and error. But i've done
tons of research and I just can't find any adamant answers regarding the
eventual sale of a website with or without a PR foundation.

Thanks to anyone who can answer.
I greatly appreciate it and all the informative posts here as well as the motivational ones.

Many contradictions in your request. Good domains with PR and history do not come that cheap.

You should just setup a site based on what you know. If you're not too familiar with keywords and SEO, then you might be better off buying a ready made site or have one created for you.

Just be careful who you buy from. If they have a BST thread, take time to read some of their post, before buying.

Just beware, ranking perimeters are constantly changing. Google is trying to neutralize SEO (both white hat and black hat), so start building links slowly and stick to high quality ones.

You need to decide very early, what type of website you want.

Authority type site

Thin adsense or affiliate site.

If you can forgive some of the jest from some members, if you search carefully, you can find some useful information.

Goodluck, and do remember to be more specific in your questions, if you want better answers.
