Anyone know where I can get prepaid Visa or Mastercards and pay either by Paypal or with Switch/Maestro?

If it's a good service feel free to give me an aff link.

Hippy,

Are you looking for prepaid credit cards or Visa gift cards? When I first discovered the covert things one could do, I almost got a prepaid credit card, until I discovered they weren't anonymous. The gift cards are and work online just like a credit card, only you can make up a name.

From what I see, it looks like the only place in the UK to get the gift cards is MBNA Europe Bank. Here in the US, there are any number of places to buy them, like Walgreens, gas stations, convenience stores, etc. where you can buy them with cash or a credit card.

https://www.mygiftcard.co.uk/ is all I can really see, other than the press release from last summer making the announcement that MBNA Europe will sell them.

I don't know of anyplace to buy them online. I even looked at the PayPal shops web site and don't see anything listed.

I'm not going anything super-shady, more a case of not trusting companies not to charge me than hiding my identity.

Cheers for the link, I'll check em out.

don't know if your card company supports this. But you could look and see if they offer virtual cards with limits. I use those virtual cards for most things that aren't recurring online.

You can find people on DP selling VCC's as well, I don't know how reliable they are though, with people getting banned left/right in those forums. I bought one but haven't tested it out yet. You can also get a VCC online, but some places are expensive. Think around $35-$40 each. search, "virtual credit cards" and you might be able to find something.

Well, the totalcard is just a fuel card - can't see anything about a prepaid cc there. Mygiftcard and others I've found are visa electron - not much use online.

Found one virtual credit card, but $100 for a $50 card, and the only way I could do it would be to use another service to buy e-gold with paypal... the search continues...

Have a look at extremecred.com - looks like it might suit your needs. Or breadcard.com. I haven't used either of them and didn't look at them in depth but worth checking out. Both UK based.

There are tons of companies in the UK offering them including cashplus.co.uk , 360money.com , v3card.com and most national banks. The post office , Co-op and others do an over the counter one with a £2000 limit

I already had a 3vcash card, so just used that in a local shop. Was looking for something I could do online though so will check out the suggestions. Cheers.
