DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH IS THE PRICE OF GAS IN EUROPE???

hahah you son of a bitch, dont get me started on gas

You guys have a lot more public transportation (the good kind where you don't have to keep your razor blades tucked in your ass to avoid getting raped [male or female]).

Plus you guys have been paying high gas prices forever and drive cars that reflect that.

We're used to decent gas prices and driving around in monster trucks and hot rods that get 5-7 miles to the gallon just to impress the babes. We probably shed a ton more tears when our gas goes up to $3.00 than when your petrol is up at $6 US a gallon.

LA sucks my man you can have my apartment, as for gas prices we have our own oil suplies ie since we desecrate alaska we get cheaper gas ;)

As for the other stuff ya it's kinda bullshit but lets see, you guys make more on average, get 3-4 weeks of paid vacation a year etc etc

I can only imagine what kind of babes you impress with monster truck.I think that the "babes"* are too heavy to ride in anything less than monster truck

The average house in the USA is MUCH bigger than one in the UK, especially London. My parents home is worth £900k (nearly $2 million), it isn't even in central London yet it is nowhere near as big as a house you can get in America for half of that price.

Hold up,
4 litres = 1 Gallon*

So yo guys pay 80 cents per litre? 40p in real money!

lol, in teh US moneys, our petrol prices are the equivelant to $8 per gallon!!!
WTF That's it USA here I come!

Only joking, fuck 'em...

I think the confuson lies in the symantics.
In England, petrol is what we here in the States call gasoline or "gas".

1 gallon is equal to 3.8 liters so if we are paying 3.25 USD for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, in England they would be paying about .85 USD per liter.

The problem now lies in the exchange rate. 1 British Pound is equal to 2.10 USD. So if one of our Bristish friends came over on holiday, rented a car over here and paid for gas, it would cost him/her .40 per liter.

The dollar is so weak compared to other countries that it makes it a bargain to visit the US on holiday and or/ buy properties here. On the other hand, it hurts the Europeans to sell their good here because their currency is so strong in comparison to the Dollar. It makes their products more expensive here.

Global Economics 101

Joe

Fuck. Minimum wage here in Arizona JUST (like in the last 4-5 months or so) got bumped up to like $7 something an hour... This JUST happened...
Before it did though, Minimum wage here in the Lovely Sweltering "Valley Of The Sun" we call home here in Arizona, was a mere $5.15 an hour.

I know people that WISH they made $12 an hour to start. lol
A lot of my friends work for under $10 an hour... Some of them around 9...
The ones that make decent money (upwards of $14 an hour) are working labor jobs...
Construction and the like...
And as you can imagine, when your average daily temp here during the summer is 115 degrees or so, that sucks.

Then again, you can get a brand new 2300 sq. ft. 2 story home, complete with 18" tile floors, granite everything, cherry cabinetry, stainless appliances, and a modern multi tone interior paint scheme, in a gated community, for around $250,000.

I'm basing this on the most recent house I rented. That describes it exactly, and I measured my bedroom + bath + walk in closet at just over 500 sq. ft.

Not bad for 250 g's

Or how about something like this...
Residential Detail - Eileen Roberson

Maybe it isnt the best, I dont know, but growing up in San Diego, it seems damn cheap to me, as that house would cost $700,000 - $1.1 mil in San Diego.

Wrong. In England we pay £1 per litre. That's $2.

What I meant was that if gasoline was sold by the liter here, we'd be paying .85 USD per liter.

ok I ordered 100mt of ethernet cable from the US and, including shipping, I paid less than buying it from a local store (the cheaper one...) and i received a crimper included in the package

petrol 1.4 € /litre here that is $2

$3.99 A GALLON!!!

I'm going to buy another diesel truck and start stealing fuel from Big Rigs if this shit keeps up!

I could do that, and sell it @ $2.50 a gallon, and do like the Mafia, and make a killing! Hahaha

Hmm... Maybe I shouldn't reply to posts without reading them twice. haha

I didn't think to factor in the liquid volume.

Liter vs. Gallon

: \

Still way too damn expensive though.

I mean, we are the United States.. Wtf is going on?

We should be lowering the prices down to $1 a gallon, then charging other countries for the rest!

DAND DOOD!

My appartemnet is worth $200,000!!! And its only a 2 bedroom place about the size of a shed! haha.

I do live in Devon though, which is one of (if not THE) most expensive places to buy a home in the UK.

My mates parents have an average sized 3 bedroom house with a big garden in the country which is worth just under $1,000,000.

House prices are insane.
