Product Sellers Forum?

See, there's another side to that one though. If I was paying $200 for membership, I better be learning more than I'm contributing. That's the other side that some people will see. Otherwise, why contribute if I'm paying for it?

Keep in mind what happened with the premium sec here after all ...

That's a valid point! But keep in mind the alternative - keeping your money in the bank yields what these days - jack, right? Or better yet the stock market these days at a .0002%. The thing about information is is that if it isn't used properly, it don't mean shit (excuse the vernacular).

***That's why I am saying a paid section that includes information that you would have to actually pay to get other places (JV brokerages, ad swaps, etc....). I guess the main thing is you guys know that if people are spending their hard earned money they aren't going to be wasting their time or allow any BS.

I think perhaps it may necessitate studying other paid forums to see why it's working there.

I do remember the paid section which didn't really take off here....

ps
Does anybody else watch that CNBC show "American Greed" it was about this short-selling Boiler-Room sytle short trader who make millions charging users $600 a month before the feds busted him....and that was like back in 2000, I was like damn, lol

Just a random aside :S

like i said a few posts ago the forum i made is going to have a private section. it is going to be invite only so you have to earn in the public forum to get into the private forum. i think paying for forum access is the biggest BS ever. you are communicating, which should be free. if you show that you deserve to be in the forum than you will be invited

Thing with forums is that if they aren't really busy they get boring and it's a fuck load of work for the mods and owner.

...I'd rather create a list of guys who are into promoting digital products and shit and have them on my AIM and just have the sub-forum here as a means of communication/threads when launches come around or for STS about digital products, etc.

I only visit WF anymore and don't want to spend a few hours every day shifting through shit on different forums like I used to.

Also it's inevitable you'll get retards in there who are just going to waste my time (even if they pay). I think a referral system would be much better and the cost of hosting each month will be handled by the members who step forward and donate a bit.

...Something that should be done here actually. No reason for Jon, even though I'm sure he's got stacks of cash in his penthouse in the Upper East Side, to pay the hosting bill every month when a lot of us owe most, if not all, our success directly to WF.

By having a referral system those who don't post a lot but know what the fuck they're doing get access and help when they want and those who would post a lot, but are full of shit, don't get in.

We don't necessarily need a private forum, but just a place to discuss things related to products and e-commerce.

Unlike affiliate marketing, selling and creating products takes a lot more work and not about secret traffic sources and secret creatives that no one will share. I personally don't care if people know what e-commerce sites I own. So as long as people are not trying to pitch their own products, it should be fine on this board as a sub-forum?

Don't worry there's plenty of folks here who think most rebills are just scams and info products are perfectly legit.

There are crappy, shitty, info products and ebooks and tangible products....and there are ones with true value.

The same applies to rebills. Most make money online or acai rebills are scammy as fuck, but then there are the ones like Netflix with true value.

On a side note, I would love to get in on a product owners forum...not just digital products though.

This. Paid or non paid = both have pro's/con's.

Mcd: Hey car showroom, did you know I made 20% of my profits last year cos I asked 'do you want fries with that'?

Car showroom: Cool, I'll see if I can do something similar. 'Hey car buyer, do you want a no nonsense, super extended warranty service with that car you just bought?'

More cash for all. No additional competition for either (in fact, I could have thrown in a related JV in there too - it's all in the numbers).

I get the feeling you are not managing your liquid assets properly.

I'd prefer it being on WF as well, its really the only forum I check nowadays. I don't sell info products but I am on the seller / advertiser end of things and I'd share what I've learned if others are doing the same.

Ok I saw Stanley mention a page back that he would be willing to add it but I don't see it. I would much rather see this as a section of WF rather than its own site.

Me too, its difficult to get a bunch of quality posters coming regularly onto a new forum when most of them browse here already

Building out my first branded product on a CPS basis. Anyone on IRC feel free to hit me up- gxdia on freenode, we could get a decent channel going and maybe help each other out.

facebook groups... wickedfire subforums... linkedin brand squatters *stares*, paid or free websites... ebooks?!

guys - honestly no flames intended. but has everyone forgotten that all obstacles mentioned in this thread [trust, quality, personality, gains, opportunity] are solved in a Single instance if you only met eachother in a real life setting, even just once :) !?

this being an internet forum by nature, i know it'd be difficult. the US is also a very large nation. some people might not even be from the US. just writing down what i know from real life. these societies do work, but tbh they work -and have always worked- best in physical form. take it how you want~~

Hey guys, on the liability insurance issue, both of the companies who I buy product from (supplement pills / sprays) included me us under their umbrella liability insurance policy.

So there shouldn't be any reason to have to purchase your own if the manufacturer has good coverage.
